I saved your post since you first posted it so that I could listen to it when I actually had the chance. First, this is one of my favorite vulnerable songs. Your version was good. I love Bonnie Raits version and George Michael but felt that Prince turned into something that it wasn't. Very rare that I feel Prince misses the mark esp. with lyrics such as these. Your version, I would actually play in one of my late night mixes and that is a huge compliment. Job well done, my friend!

WOW! How cool is it that you saved my post a long time ago? Haha. Thank you, wishuhvn. I know Prince's cover just wasn't on point with the meaning of the lyrics, but musically speaking, I just love it, his vocals are so warm and sexy there. I just tried to recreate that mood without just copying it. I'll upload more tracks soon, stay tuned!
