A Poem 4 Prince's Birthday. Happy Birthday Prince, even if you don't celebrate, I wrote U a poem 4 your Birthday.
I'm Rich With Romance A muddy winding stream Lining a white picket fence Wading in my ripped up white Levi's with pocket change dents Dandelion skeletons Arrayed cute in the grass Finding ten cents in my state Even if it's broken glass Chocolate Kisses Leading straight to my bed Actually for now it's just The silver foil instead The Breakfast in bed thing Is way overdone Cheerio's at noon or one Is a lot more fun I imagine walking with a King In the morning purple rain A warm rag from the dryer For me to brush his mane I'll tell my King sweet stories At midnight when we're bathing By twinkle bug he'll see me good I got lot's and I'm still saving Just all day kicking around A Prince Albert tobacco can In my daisy underwear cuz' my nylons ran Flowers and flowers all over the porch But they eat the leather curtain That's over the door For sentiment a Sunday drive in tears My Buick Blackhawk rusted And busted down here. I know Prince has only had one birthday and he doesn't want to celebrate it, but that doesn't mean the rest of us aren't thankful for another beautiful year on the planet with Prince. I know Prince has only had one birthday and he doesn't want to celebrate it, but that doesn't mean the rest of us aren't thankful for another beautiful year on the planet with Prince. I could celebrate Prince's birthday in December, since he's a Jehovah's Witness, I have that freedom. I was born in December. Does it mean I could celebrate my birthday in June?  | |
