brilliant video, sets a great mood and I could listen to you talk for days...

I HELLA feel you on how change is affecting our respective hoods. I want Oakland to be on the come up ALL THE TIME but when I see them tear down that diner (where I smoked a gang of cigs...) or gut that warehouse (where I smoked a gang o' dro...) or that pawnshop gets replaced with a Starbucks I'm like WHAT THEE FUCK!!

You smoke too much because the editing was very well done... hopefully you don't ACTUALLY smoke that much but in cinema it lends a particular gravitas... Especially enjoyed the hookah puffs...

At the red light you forgot your SAH RIL SANDWICH BOARD!!!

thanks tho...and yeah, i know the ills of gentrication are alwyas going on everywhere...and as much as i hate to see it, my city does need improvement so its kinda like a catch 22...

as for the smoking, i dont smoke that much really...it was actually a combo between me being nervous in the beginig, and at the hookah bar i thought it was only right to order a hookah if he was gonna let us film there..

but yeah, the guy behind the camera is gonna be my boss in a few weeks, and we already bond over prince fanness so i anticipate alot of collaboration in the works
