New Cloud9 Mission song in the pipeline (feedback please!)

So its been years since I last recorded a song , even though I've carried on writing new tunes. Just have not had the time to record them like I used to.

Here's a video of me recording the bass line to my new song - "Your Love". This song also has something non of my other songs have had, real drums!!

This was just the first rough take but I had the camera rolling to critique my playing. As well as the bass part, I also played all the other instruments on this recording too!

First and foremost I'm a drummer but I play a few other instruments, mainly for my own enjoyment. To be honest, I wish I had the confidence I do on drums with other instruments but I also play Bass, Guitar and Keys. I've been working on songs like this for my solo Jazz, Soul, Funk and Gospel Project - The Cloud9 Mission.

Tried to comment on your video tutorial thread but it wouldn't
let me. Wanted to say that the drumming teaser (the highlighted
one) on your utube drumming channel, while the drumming is v. good,
the reverb or something made it difficult to listen to. There must
be a low cost way to muffle (the room if not the drums). The teaser
I think should be much shorter - it should leave someone wanting more.

I do what you do on a much less advanced scale. However,
am into embracing my limitations and being myself. There'll al-
ways be many cats who can write/drum/sing rings around me. It's
not about that...
