Anyone have any funk guitar rhythms for a relative beginner? I wanna attack the guitar with some funky rhythms... think "Faith" by George Michael or other such stuff.
Anyone have any rhythms they can write out and post on this topic for me to practise? Pleeeease? |

get a drum machine... listen to the song and put in the drum rhythm. don't worry about all the little subtleties just focus mostly on the kick and snare... now put hi-hats (or whatever) in the drum machine that are the same rhythm as the guitar. now play the machine and play your guitar following the hi-hats... and sing it too. i think the chords to kiss are A7, D7, and E7. | |
