I met 4 Prince.org/NFO members

I haven't been around much... Been kinda busy falling in love with my new man, Prince Be from PM Dawn... Long story... We met in July. Anywho, I went to New Jersey via New York to visit him and decided to take to opportunity to meetup with Jshua, DreamFirstBornJew, WilliamRyanGeorge and MarcDeon.

It was a beautiful night.

I know Jshua doesn't want his picture online, so I covered his face up with his Divination promo shot.



So for those who don't know... Left to right we got, Jshua, Marc Deon, VinaBlue, Prince Be, DreamFirstBornJew and WilliamRyanGeorge.

Jew and Prince Be! I LOVE this picture... They both look so beautiful.

Jshua drove up from Maryland and we rode with him to New York, so I didn't feel the urgency to take a picture with him and ended up not getting to it. We are really close and we talk on the phone all the time. He's like my big brother, so I'm bummed. I've spoken with Marc a few times and Jew just once or twice... Ryan was brand new to me... but somehow we all felt like family. At least I felt it. I didn't want the meeting to end.

The next day we went back to New York and I called up Jew and Marc to see if they could hang out again. Marc had to work. It was awesome to connect with Jew again. He's such a beautiful soul. He took this picture of me and Be.




Then I got another one of Jew... I just had to.



I can't wait to visit the east coast again! I love all you guys so much.

We never got around to the group hug.

Oh and this is funny... Jew was trying to take a picture of me and he accidentally set my camera on the movie setting. So here is like a 2 second clip of me trying to pose for him, LOL.

Awe. Too cute. Talked to Jshua the other night and got the trip story. You look VERY happy Vina. You deserve a good man and he sounds like a right, might gentleman.

BTW, my new job will have me going to NYC in the near future and probably more than after that doing some video/photo projects so lets all try to make another trip. PLEASE! I'd really like that. The funny part is my team was just up there last wed through monday and I declined to go with them because I had not seen my own family for two weeks. I wish I would have came up there now.

One day we will have a meetup in San Fran... Do you still live in Berkeley? I'm seriously contemplating going to see Jai Uttal again on Dec 8th.

Just wanted to say.....

This entire family process that we now have started a couple of years ago
when Vina reached out and offered to call us from work. After that, something really interesting happened and quite a few of us found ourselves staying in contact with each other, not just to talk music but also to discuss life and how life affects our craft in various ways....

I guess its ok now to let the "cat out of the bag" a little (don't hurt me family) but we've all contributed to each other's projects over the past year by way of music or suggestion. What is also exciting is the fact that there are some collabs which are forthcoming which "old school heads" might really dig from knowing us in the past and the "new school heads" might dig of us as a bit of a re-introduction....

So many exciting things to talk about: I'm going up to New York soon to record with JEW and The George (who are just larger than life in person), Vina's gonna be on my new album, You should hear Vina's new album because It'll blow your mind!, It was incredible to witness Tal's creative process in the making of his new album!, being blessed to pick the brain of Psykosoul and discuss creative influences has been amazing, MarcDeon is one of the sharpest cats I've met, Prince Be has an incredible mind and history that you just wouldn't believe, Kelly has been an incredible Godsend to all of us, and the list just keeps going on and on.....

There were so many of you who were missed!

What can I say? The old school never left, most of us just went underground and started bringing together a movement...
