Be warned - it's poopers delite. Seriously - more crap than not. I am not responsible for any crimes that may result in the hearing of this big steaming pile.

I have no idea WHAT happened to the vocals at the end... it goes Camille on me and I got no clue what I did to deserve that.

lol I just love the fact that you're doing remixes, I mean why not, it's cool keep it up. I want it to hear the kick over and over in succession at some of the break downs just to make it a real House mix.

It's not as the cool as "runyourhands" which played in my itunes right after this though, wow, bring that back to, fingaz

Damn I wrote a whole lot of stuff about this remix and then I pushed a wrong button and it was all gone. mad Alright, here we go again:

At first I was like "What the fuck is this!", but after repeated listening I think you have a pretty decent setup fot a cool club mix, but it is a little too sparse as it is now.

I would add some bent "Prince" synth stabs at the end of every fourth measure, like in the Freestylers "Push up" track (check it out, it was a huge hit in Europe, I don't know if it did anything in the States though). That would totally work IMO.

Also I would add some snare backbeats to it to make it more groovy, although the drum programming is already quite good. Add some crashes too, and maybe a reversed crash here or there just before the beat comes back in.

And I would add some of the typical house chords like in Rosie Gaines' "Closer than close" track to fill it up a little and give it that gay appeal that you are obviously looking for, hehe! lol Just kidding of course, but I do think that would work.

The last thing I want to say is that the high arpeggiator thingy isn't really working in my opinion. All and all I think it could become a pretty decent clubmix if you'd put some more work to it. You go you funky house diva, hehe! razz

You should make this a "REMIX PROJECT" and give us the vocals only with the BPM and let us go to town!

You'll have your first maxi single in no time.

I think I'll do THIS. I don't have the time to muck with it, unfortunately.

But the vocal tracks are hella-slow (from the original track) but I'll put them somewhere for you mixer freaks to do something with. Later today.

GREAT! I'll take a stab at it myself, no doubt. Not sure if you want to put up your guitar solo track or not.

No clue. Best of luck!

95? The loops are 120, but the vocals aren't.

Here's a stab at it: http://newfunkorder.com/U...mix_01.mp3

That was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I had to listen to the original a few times to find where some of those breaks were that kept throwing the whole mix off.

It could be hecka better, but this was really fun. I'll play with this again later I'm sure.

I've toyed a complete evening with it trying to mix the lyrics with a house track that I once made, but haven't managed to get good results yet. I'll toy with it again next week.

The lyrics are at 107 BPM indeed, and I have managed to timestretch them to 128 BPM, they fit in flawless with the music, no need to cut them into parts here.

Hello all.

I've been lurking around for a while but this remix thread has coaxed me into participating. biggrin

My attempt at a remix is here

Couldn't resist breaking out the LinnDrum samples. wink

The mix could probably do with more work, but see what you make of it.

Everytime I try to beatmap them in Acid, I end up with a plate of cold spaghetti. Can you email me the beatmapped version of the file? Oh, I guess not, it would be huge, hunh? Can you walk me through how to do the thing right?
