Ok, from this page, it says:

Save to AAC from unprotected WMA (windows only)

Maybe someone can try it out with a windows machine?

Ok, it won't convert the NPGMC files.
BUT...
I will convert those "other" wma files you may have collected over the years.

iTunes -- the one app on my Mac that runs all day. They may as well have named it "Finder."

Did you notice some of the other new features of the store, like it plays music videos, it plays movie trailers for movies and DVDs, it has the airplay charts for I think every radio station in the country. When you play music videos or trailers, the related music is a click away.

Yes -- Apple keeps making this app better and better. It's like Photoshop -- you think they've got it just about perfect, then they outdo themselves with the next upgrade. Of course, with iTunes it's f-r-e-e. music

I remember...just three years ago I was slowly burning mix CDs for myself to have to listen to at work. Now, thanks to iTunes, I've got 2889 songs (just looked) at my fingertips, ripped from CDs I own, along with one-click access to more songs at 99 cents a pop, complete with DRM that anyone can live with.

yep - I've been browsing videos and buying songs all night. So much better than trying to find new music by listening to the radio

here's the info on the free music:

Already this week they gave away this week to celebrate the 1 year anniversary:

My Hero - Foo Fighters
Take me away - Avril Lavigne
Hold On to Me - Courtney Love

And here's what's coming
Sat: Annie Lennox
Sun: Janes Addiction
Mon: Counting Crows
Tues: Rene Fleming
Wed: Nelly Furtado

plus a free song a week after that.

The iTunes Music Store features a new free single every week. On Tuesday of course. So if you want to keep current with all the new releases and newly added exclusives be sure to sign up for the free New Music Tuesdays email bulletin. It's a great reminder to download the free single every week.

fyi: someone started up the NPGMC/iTunes debate again in the U Tell Us section at the club.

http://www.npgmusicclub.c...hp?t=73457

still people on there for some bizarre reason arguing against offering choices that meet people's needs.

I don't think it's simply people arguing against offering choices as much as it is "we heard you the first 20 times this was brought up"....

but, hey everybody's got their something right?

They argued against it the first time it was brought up. Nothing has been done to address the issue, which is why it keeps coming up. I didn't bring it up this time, someone else did. You'd think that fans would be more supportive of the needs of fellow fans.

Don't take it so personally, I know you didn't bring it up alan, but alot of the posts are telling the guy who did bring it up "we heard you the first 20 times...."

It's just seems that its getting to the point where the "dialogue" has become:

mac users: NPGMC should better support macs because of the following reasons....

pp#: We are not going to do that...

mac users: no really here are some more great reasons...

pp#: Still not happening..

mac users: but can't you see that its unfair because, etc., etc., etc.....

But hey, if you wanna go for plea #21, Valla con Dios hermano!
