My Hero: miabocca Someone over at NPGMC suggested "we all put on" to help Prince buy his masters back. Miabocca's response:
"LMAO!! I have never heard anything so pathetic on this board EVER! (And that's saying something on here) I (and hopefully everyone else here who isn't one sandwich short of a picnic) have much better things to spend my money on than helping out a spoilt multi-millionaire squelch back on the contracts he agreed to. Oh dear! Well thanks for the laugh any way!" This has officially made my day and better yet, so far it has stayed up.  | |

I can't read the posts over there. It's just so fucking sad.
Everyone's trying so hard to blow sunshine up Prince's ass, it makes me want to drill a hole in my head. There's a worse-case scenario going on over there. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

That thread is truly fucking frightening. I would love to be able to convince myself that those people are kidding.
I figure, why not have the fams finance all of his future projects? It would really show who the real fams are if we could pre-pay for his video production, for example. It makes sense, when you think about it. It's only what he deserves after giving us so much amazing music. "How many food stamps didja have to give to get THIS palace? Yeah, this is really NICE..." Couldn't believe when I read the thread over at NPGMC. The most freakish one in a long time. Brrr...

Hell yeah, that would make a great concept: Imagine, we finance anything he's about to do (and what he's about to cancel of course) - and if it finally sees the light, we buy it back. Not to forget about the gazillion versions we are going to buy anyway. 
I guess, the initiator of the thread (you might also call it a threat btw) finally has invented the ultimate perpetuum mobile...

Seeing as in your first sentence you say you can't read the posts at NPGMC, I must take umbrage at your comment that "everyone" is trying to suck up to Prince over there. While there are certainly some (probably more than here) sycophantic threads, it's simply untrue that there are no threads that complain, demand, request, criticise, and due to the style of moderation at NPGMC a lot of these threads remain unchecked. Just somewhere in the middle,

Wolf Sorry to let you in on the secret. I've been doing that for 23 YEARS!!! What has he been doing with my $$$ My Damn hasn't he heard about treasury bonds, CDs etc. Sorry I love the man, love his music and buy more than enough goodies that at times I can't afford. Attend way to many concerts that I can hardly afford. I no it's not a money issue with him, it's a principal issue. This "Fam" is just trying to get free stage tickets or something. I don't know. The more I visit NPGMC, the more I appreciate the ORG> **************************************************

I agree KeithyT. There have been some strange threads over there but this takes the cake. However, it is certainly NOT reflective of NPGMC. I know I was like  and :WACKY: to say the least, when I read that and quickly moved away, not even bothering to respond.
