I am a big Prince fan and have always supported his direct to consumer(Fan) websites from the first one and it really does feel like a 'take your money and run' situation with Lotusflow3er.com. Its a classic case of over promise and under deliver. If I would have known what I know now I would have bought the album from Target and not bought from the site. If Prince can sue his fans then why can't his fans sue him? This site would be a perfect organizing tool for such a move (no wonder he wanted/wants to take it and others like it down!). I'd love to see his Machiavellian legal team take a righteous hit. Vipers! | |

What's wrong with you guy's, your not 6 years old, Prince is a musician not a website designer ...
I'm in the UK and I got the lastest CD, I had to pay more than you guy's in the US ....What your prince was $11.00 for 3 CD's / 2 CD's if you want to take the Bria Album off. Still good vaule for money..... Why would you want to join a website for $77.00 ? What's wrong with you ? To get video's of Prince....There's loads on the internet for free ...
And you can always buy his Video from Amazon Aladdin / Rave / etc... Or if you want to know about Prince buy a book again loads on Amazon.com, Then you have magazines you can get back issues of Rolling Stone, NME etc... T-Shirts you can get the any image Printed on to your T-shirt down the local market, whatever design you want! Pictures you can sign up to Getty Images and buy them, very cheap and good poster quality....  Da, Da, Da....Emancipation....Free..don't think I ain't..! London 21 Nights...Clap your hands...you know the rest..

I can get to the homepage and enter my details but then the orb just sits there all omni-impotent. And then it caused Safari to stop responding. I had to force it to quit! I'm a Mac user ffs, I'm not used to having dodgy websites or software causing my system to slow up or crash!
Such an amateur operation the whole thing. Very disappointed by it all. A fool and his money are soon parted they say. Well I'm the fool alright. Not next time though. | |

I will say this for the site. No one can say they had ALL of the videos posted there. I have had the laserdiscs for Sacrafice of Voctor and Undertaker since they were released but they are still fairly rare classics that I bet most serious Prince collectors were searching for. I see peope complaining that they already had all the videos and - while I am sure they are some that did - I am sure that most did not. | |

I don't think any "serious Prince collector" was still searching for a crappy copy of S.o.V. And can we please remember that downloading stuff from the site is only possible via tricks and fancy add-ons? There is no download button on LF, and when the site will be gone in a few months, people will have nothing. Well, some may have downloaded the clips and stil can watch them after that, but then still the crappy flv converts will be the lowest quality versions circulating. Damn, people have the promo clip for Uptown on 3, 5 or 12 different releases, every single one making everything on LF being a pity quality-wise. There is absolutely no excuse for anything related to LF. We all got lied in our faces, and ripped off big time, stop questioning that. (Not you in particular, Brofie, just took your post as a start. No pun.) The only "real" thing i got for my membership was the unreleased track "The Morning After", everything else was a huge joke, I'm not even going to comment on all that bullshit we got.
