DiscoJellyfish

Hey gang,

I remember the Disco Jellyfish instrumental being an available song to listen to within LotusFlow3r.com. However, I cannot find it anymore. Is it still on LotusFlow3r.com? If so, could you point me in the right direction. Is it in the video section

Unfortunately, it's not available anymore. Not since the site has officially launched. When the timer blew up, discojellyfish was too close to the blast and because an official casualty.

It's not available officially. Unofficially is another matter...

I queued it up again today after reading this post. It's actually a bit different. The guitar riffs are different, and there are more instruments than on the released "Chocolate Box". Also, the Linndrum isn't as loud in the mix on "DiscoJellyfish". The rimshots don't have the same punch.

Indeed, I too have had another listen, i would say they are certainly the same song, disco maybe being an earlier version, but if played after chocolate box, for me at least, runs into it to create an extended version...

Oh God, don't let's start this comparison argument again. He wrote the jam and then fleshed it out into the song. Or he wrote the song and then jammed with it. Either way it's the same bloody thing give or take the differences.

Exactement! The same with, for example New Orleans or that instrumental. Who was first, the chicken or the egg? Alphabet Street or This Is Not Music This Is A Trip?
What do you mean it's not in the computer?

My point was simply that "Discojellyfish" isn't exactly "just Chocolate Box without the vocals". No comparison argument intended, just a statement of fact. smile
