I don't quite recall, does anyone remember if there was anything said about those 3 shows being recorded or filmed for broadcast on the site?

I would even pay $84, I believe that is $7 per song. Whatever the cost, PLEASE make it available.

Well, seeing as it will stop people profitting from his output, you never know.

Unlikely, yes - but we can all still hope.

For him to stop others he should equal their output.
I.e.:

Full show, no excuses, no edits.
Soundboard or matrix mix.

A dull soundboard can use a matrix mix sometimes, so he should fill that hole.

I agree on the matrix mix.

However, I don't think Prince could make one could he? Unless he teamed up with someone who recorded it in the audience ... which is less likely than him actually releasing a whole unedited concert.

I didn't mind the sound of the crowd on the ONA Live set though - especially the aftershow disc. Just a shame about the dubz.

Crowd can give a bit of atmosphere, show him the results of the hard work of the musicians, make half of a `convo` complete, etc.
Also it could help him get over the doorstep with releasing soundboards: Still it's not the clean soundboard tape but to us it's a big improvement.

s much as I wish it, it surely won't happen. For years Prince has had every opportunity to beat the bootleggers but it seems that he doesn't want to. It's much better to just sit back and complain about it apparently. Lotusflow3r.com is a golden opportunity to be a hot line for all the latest stuff but nope. We still have to find stuff like the recent Leno performances from illegal sources if we don't like in the US. If someone can record it from the TV, encode and upload it within a short time of it being aired, why isn't Prince doing it and putting it on his website?
