I think Prince takes online much more seriously than anyone knows. He's probably reading this right now and he's gonna write a song about it and then get his lawyers to keep trying to shut down these sites, so that one magical day, we can all be on one site, only allowed to talk about what Prince wants us to talk about, like another new album filled with garbage music. That will be a... cosmic day!

As I read the last of the posts on here I can't help but think:

1) The majority of level headed Org members are probably raising their eyes and wondering why this thread has continued to dissend into personal attacks of HQ mods from grudging exmembers.

2) That the orgnote alternative would be the common sense way to communicate these personal arguments

3) the majority of us really don't think any of this is helpful to anyone....least of all the Org or HQ.

Until recently, the org was a reference site for me. But realizing that things like this continue happening, and nothing is done, definitely I think that the org chapter should be closed for me. Which is a shame, since as I have said other times, I started participating in the Prince online community back in 1993/94, in the old times of the Prince Mailing List, which was the ancestor of the org; furthermore, I discovered HQ while reading the org.

15 years later, it is really sad for me to realize what is left from that original resource. So I guess it's time to close for good.

(And to the nice orgers: excuse me guys, this was just the worst icing on the cake. I hope to meet you at other places).

i have never understood why banned members and/or members with excessive warning points from hq feel so compelled to come here and bash. you did the crime, suck it up and accept your punishment instead of lashing out verbally. That is something you did in 2nd grade...I am sure everyone here is far beyond the 2nd grade.
