anyone else still waiting for DOW live? the club claims it was mailed to me on friday the 6th...so 10 days and counting. $7 for shipping, WTF?!! i'm only a day's drive away from minneapolis, for chrissakes!!! No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

I've been emailing back and forth with Gage Marketing (Lori's really nice) She said basically it takes anywhere from 10-15 business days to arrive once it's shipped. So mine was shipped 8/30 and may not arrive until the end of this week!
Weird part is I placed another order a day later (for the tourbook and t-shirt) and it shipped 9/3 and arrived 9/9. She had no explanation for that. I suspect that the CD shipping was handled differently somehow (a bulk rate process?) | |

ok...does anyone else find it a bit ridiculous to pay $7 shipping from a few states over and it takes "10-15 business days"? shit, that kinda snail-mail should be FREE. i'm getting SO tired of prince's shit...and now that i have high-speed internet access, i feel like i've thrown enough money away at the man's bogus businesses over the years...i'll enjoy the music MORE if i DON'T have to give him a cent.
ugh. ok, so i'm probably just irritated and venting. but i can say one thing with total certainty: the NPGMC is the sorriest excuse for a "business" or "record label" or whatever-the-hell-they-claim-they-are that i've ever encountered. Mine shipped on August 30 and didn't arrive until September 14...so definitely give them the full 15 days before you worry. I e-mailed Gage Marketing on the 11th and asked if I should have received the shipment (politely, mind you), and I did get an e-mail back a couple days later stating that nothing was wrong with the order, and to just give it a couple more days.
