The NPGMC people should either stop doing drugs or go and rent some porn movies if they are bored.

I didn't even know this was an email. I just happened to be there when the thread went up. I was wondering where all the people came from.

endorphin74 said: that is about the oddest email yet from NPGMC. They must be bored I agree. I DID, however, find the "favorite unreleased track" question promising!! My worry - Prince will never release tracks like "Electric Intercourse" or "Wonderful Ass" because of his current religious stance. I know, a petty worry, true - but a realisitc one, nonetheless. "She made me glad to be a man"

This is so odd...do you think Prince wrote any of the questions? I'm wondering if he had a hand in questions 1 and 4 personally.
Also, notice Istenstek saying universal europe has released a statement and it mentions fury will have extras on the cd single...could it be anything to do with Question 4?

Uh-oh, it's silly dickhead season again. Expect lots of anti-fan behaviour to commence soon. Maybe he's going to ask that we send him all our copies of 3121 back. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

Here's mine:
If Prince decided 2 give up music and become a waiter, would u go 2 his job and heckle him? Nah. If he does his job good, i'll give him a tip, though. What do u put on ur pizza? Mushrooms and onions. Is milk really just cow mucous? (a fair question) Yes. And so is breast milk from a female human being. What a silly question. Hear that? That's my eyes rolling. Favorite unreleased Prince track? Hmm. Well, I suppose the "party line" is "I don't have one. Since Prince hasn't released it, I haven't heard it yet." Otherwise, i'm quite fond of "Moonbeam Levels", "Eye Wonder" and loads of others. Did u know WB can only release one more "greatest hits" package and then it's finally OVER? Didn't know that. If it's "finally OVER", does that mean we'll eventually see remastered (not REMIXED or REINTERPRETED) versions of pre-91 output? Will u buy it or just play ur old copies? Both. As long as there are unedited versions of B-Sides like the recent Rhino release attempted to do. Has anybody in the club ever met a record xecutive in person? I met Prince once. Ever seen one of them dance? He used to dance great. Did splits and everything. Where do u hear new music most? On my computer or during my radio show. How often do u buy music? Whenever an artist that I like releases something new. Will u ever give up CDs completely and just go 100% online 4 all ur music needs? NEVER. ONLINE "files" will NEVER, EVER, EVER replace hard copies. EVER. 1st music U ever purchased was: I honestly don't remember. I do remember my mother buying me "Let's Go Crazy" on 7" and the "1999" double LP right before going to see "Purple Rain" in the theatres. Man, was the foreplay scene with Apples uncomfortable. Last music U purchased was: A Nine Inch Nails EP for "Every Day Is Exactly the Same". Is download piracy in the news merely a smokescreen 2 actually teach people how 2 do it. ( IE: The I-Pod ) Leading a horse 2 greener pasture perhaps? No. Bottom line: TRUE fans will buy and support their favorite artists. If someone downloads something, while not being "right" or legal, they had no intention of buying it in the first place. A TRUE fan wants to support the artist and wants the whole package (CD, liner notes, lyrics, etc..). Have u made any new friends in the club since joining? In the NPGMC? Not really. On Housequake.com & Prince.org? Yes. Fans seem to be a bit....umm....EXTREME here. Not everything Prince does is "Gold". As much as he might not believe it, but he is a fallible human being. A talented one, though. Can art and business ever truly coexist in harmony? Probably not. Heck, religion and politics can't either. • Did you first think Prince was gay? •
Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

Well, I'm not bothered in answering it there, because I know my opinion counts for jack sh*t.
But here? Hey - I'll do it for the craic. Questions 4 Members: 1. If Prince decided 2 give up music and become a waiter, would u go 2 his job and heckle him? No, I'd simply take a leaf out of his book and ask for some poor-assed flunky who's never done it before to come do his job for him. "U - ur my waiter now, go wait..." 2. What do u put on ur pizza? D'uh - topping of course 3. Is milk really just cow mucous? (a fair question) www.notmilk.com 4. Favorite unreleased Prince track? Supposedly, there are no 'unreleased Prince tracks' judging by the underwhelming lack of the aforementioned since the whole 'free the music' schpeel we were bashed around the heads with all the subtlety of a piece of 2x4. Why not 'hip us 2 ur cause' 5. Did u know WB can only release one more "greatest hits" package and then it's finally OVER? Will u buy it or just play ur old copies? Did you know that there's actually life outside of Paisley Park's gates perchance? 6. Has anybody in the club ever met a record xecutive in person? Ever seen one of them dance? Oh do grow up. 7. Where do u hear new music most? Word of mouth has always suited me just fine thanks. That, and the wreka stow. 8. How often do u buy music? Like water, as and when I need it. 9. Will u ever give up CDs completely and just go 100% online 4 all ur music needs? If it goes that way I guess so, but personally speaking, I've always prefered something hard to hold in my hands. 10. 1st music U ever purchased was: Michael Jackson: 'Off The Wall' in 1979 11. Last music U purchased was: Take a wild guess. Go on, I dare you. 12. Is download piracy in the news merely a smokescreen 2 actually teach people how 2 do it. (IE: The I-Pod ) Leading a horse 2 greener pasture perhaps? I think you really need to get out more, that's what I think. 13. Have u made any new friends in the club since joining? There's a club?!? 14. Can art and business ever truly coexist in harmony? Art is the yin to Commerce's yang.

1. If Prince decided to give up music and become a waiter, would you go to his job and heckle him?
Only if he wore high heels. That, and if he changed the menu so that it include Princebonics. 2. What do you put on your pizza? Tomato sauce, mozzarella. canadian bacon, pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives & Italian sausage. 3. Is milk really just cow mucous? "The hills are alive... with the sound of... mucous." (Bonus points to anyone that can remember who Prince calls out in the band directly following that line.) 4. Favorite unreleased Prince track? "The Ride" (from the official "The Undertaker" laserdisc released in Japan). After that, anything by Camille that hasn't been officially released. 5. Did you know WB can only release one more "greatest hits" package and then it's finally OVER? Will you buy it or just play your old copies? No, I didn't know and honestly, at this point the fans really don't care anymore. I remember being (very) excited when I heard Prince was jumping WB's ship. I thought for sure Prince would release a ton of music on his own. However, Prince has released practically the same amount of quality material than when he was on WB. Very little has changed. If WB releases another greatest hits that includes unedited remastered tracks, I'll buy it to hold me over until Prince's entire back catalogue is remastered. Understatement of the year: The old copies desperately need to be remastered. That said, if Prince only allows for his material to be remastered if he can edit the lyrics, etc... then there is no way I'll purchase the remastered material. I mean, c'mon... we don't need another "1999: The New Master." 6. Has anybody in the club ever seen a record executive dance? Yes. Prince is a pretty good dancer. (Hello, NPG Records) 7. Where do you listen to new music the most? Although I have all of Prince's work on CD, the last Prince CD I played in an actual CD player was Newpower Soul. The only reason I open them any more is to load them in itunes so I can enjoy them on my computer and iPod. 8. How often do you buy music? Whenever an artist I respect releases something new. That, or via word of mouth. 9. Will youu ever give up CDs completely and just go 100% online for all your music needs? No. 10. First music you ever purchased was: Mickey Mouse Club record. Then AC/DC "Back In Black." First Prince purchase was "Purple Rain," shortly followed by everything before that. (And of course, everything that followed.) 11. Last music you purchased was: Sonya Kilcher. 12. Is download piracy in the news merely a smokescreen to actually teach people how to do it. Leading a horse to greener pasture perhaps? No. Almost any idiot can download music. The people you have to worry about are the ones that are constantly uploading officially released material. Those are the only ones actually hurting the artist. 13. Have you made any new friends in the club since joining? No. I don't hang around here. People around here are a little too fanatic for my tastes. 14. Can art and business ever truly coexist in harmony? That depends on how many "Yes" people the artists have around them. If all you have are "yes" people, your work suffers. [Edited 4/24/06 15:15pm]

O.k., my turn...
1. If Prince decided 2 give up music and become a waiter, would u go 2 his job and heckle him? Are his contracts really that bad that he has to think about this career opportunity? 2. What do u put on ur pizza? Nothing. The pizza service does it. 3. Is milk really just cow mucous? (a fair question) Yes, what else? Heavenly manna? I thought the hardcore vegan period was over... 4. Favorite unreleased Prince track? Probably "The Grand Progression". 5. Did u know WB can only release one more "greatest hits" package and then it's finally OVER? Will u buy it or just play ur old copies? I already haven't bought TVBOP, so I don't give a shit. 6. Has anybody in the club ever met a record xecutive in person? Ever seen one of them dance? See end of answer 5. 7. Where do u hear new music most? I don't care for 95 % of new pop music. New classical music: probably in concert. 8. How often do u buy music? It depends. Very irregularly. 9. Will u ever give up CDs completely and just go 100% online 4 all ur music needs? Only if I don't have any other chance. 10. 1st music U ever purchased was: I'm not sure. Probably something by Mozart or Haydn. 11. Last music U purchased was: David Bowie, "Low". 12. Is download piracy in the news merely a smokescreen 2 actually teach people how 2 do it. ( IE: The I-Pod ) smile Leading a horse 2 greener pasture perhaps? I think download piracy is the correct punishment for a corrupt and overdone industry. Only problem is that it can hurt the artists too. 13. Have u made any new friends in the club since joining? No. 14. Can art and business ever truly coexist in harmony? Some of the greatest art in history has been created when the artist just was seen as someone's servant.

I was going to answer them at the club, but I cannot get into the forums. I wonder if this blew the forums up
1. If Prince decided 2 give up music and become a waiter, would u go 2 his job and heckle him? First, I don't heckle Prince now so why would I do it if he were a waiter? Second, acting rude to people is disrespectful and I don't do that. Third, Don't you know the #1 rule? "Don't fuck with people who serve your food." 2. What do u put on ur pizza? Easier to say what I don't put on it. Anchovies and/or anything spicy. 3. Is milk really just cow mucous? (a fair question) Could be, I've never looked at it under a microscope. 4. Favorite unreleased Prince track? In over 20 years it's all become a blur. 5. Did u know WB can only release one more "greatest hits" package and then it's finally OVER? Will u buy it or just play ur old copies? Will it ever really be over? I bought the first "Greatests Hits" for Disc 3, other than that I listen to my old copies. 6. Has anybody in the club ever met a record xecutive in person? Ever seen one of them dance? I don't know everyone in the club so I have no idea. Speaking for myself no and no. 7. Where do u hear new music most? The radio. 8. How often do u buy music? When Prince releases something new. 9. Will u ever give up CDs completely and just go 100% online 4 all ur music needs? Nope. 10. 1st music U ever purchased was: Sugar Hill Gang's first lp. 11. Last music U purchased was: Prince's 3121 cd 12. Is download piracy in the news merely a smokescreen 2 actually teach people how 2 do it. ( IE: The I-Pod ) Leading a horse 2 greener pasture perhaps? First, just come out and say your peace ya'll. Second, it very well could be. So many things are done with ulterior motives. 13. Have u made any new friends in the club since joining? Yes, and thankfully they have made their way to prince.org. 14. Can art and business ever truly coexist in harmony? Joe Perry once said something to the effect of once you use your art for business, the lines begin to blur. I'm firmly planted in denial

You can practically feel Prince staring down at you as you attempt to answer the dreaded 'pizza topping' question. Never have so many meat-eaters preffered only vegetable toppings!
Questions 4 Members: 1. If Prince decided 2 give up music and become a waiter, would u go 2 his job and heckle him? No, because waiters doin't have hecklers. 2. What do u put on ur pizza? Ground beef, pepperoni, and green peppers 3. Is milk really just cow mucous? (a fair question) I have no idea. 4. Favorite unreleased Prince track? Moonbeam Levels 5. Did u know WB can only release one more "greatest hits" package and then it's finally OVER? Will u buy it or just play ur old copies? I just bought Ultimate, so I would say 'yes' if there are rarities on it. 6. Has anybody in the club ever met a record xecutive in person? Ever seen one of them dance? No, I've never met one. 7. Where do u hear new music most? Itunes, Internet, friends 8. How often do u buy music? once every couple months 9. Will u ever give up CDs completely and just go 100% online 4 all ur music needs? Of course. There will a replacement for CDs eventually. 10. 1st music U ever purchased was: Probably a Weird Al tape 11. Last music U purchased was: Black Sweat on Itunes 12. Is download piracy in the news merely a smokescreen 2 actually teach people how 2 do it. ( IE: The I-Pod ) Smile Leading a horse 2 greener pasture perhaps? I have no idea what you're talking about. 13. Have u made any new friends in the club since joining? No. 14. Can art and business ever truly coexist in harmony? Maybe in advertising. Questions 4 Members:
1. If Prince decided 2 give up music and become a waiter, would u go 2 his job and heckle him? I couldn't care less... I'm a FAN of Prince's music, not his customer service skills (or lack of them, *cough* 1800-NEW-FUNK circa-1998 *cough* ) 2. What do u put on ur pizza? Lots of proscuiotto ham and chilli peppers 3. Is milk really just cow mucous? (a fair question) If you're unsure of the contents of your carton of milk, may I suggest reading the label? Further reading: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milk 4. Favorite unreleased Prince track? There's a question! So many.... Possessed, Player, Extra Loveable... the list goes on, and on - and they're all gonna still be enjoyed for years to come, whilst my copy of 3121 will be collecting a thick layer of dust. Simply MY opinion, nothing more. 5. Did u know WB can only release one more "greatest hits" package and then it's finally OVER? Will u buy it or just play ur old copies? I don't even play my old copies, but I'll still be buying it, there's a space on my shelf with it's name on it 6. Has anybody in the club ever met a record xecutive in person? Ever seen one of them dance? Yawn..... 7. Where do u hear new music most? By searching it out.... The internet, recommendations from friends - Certainly not mainstream radio, television or clubs 8. How often do u buy music? At least every fortnight, if not every week 9. Will u ever give up CDs completely and just go 100% online 4 all ur music needs? I'd like to always purchase music in a PHYSICAL format, regardless of whether that is CD or something else, but I fear we are seeing the beginning of a total move from physical distribution to digital distribution. 10. 1st music U ever purchased was: Eddy Grant - 'Killer On The Rampage' 11. Last music U purchased was: Booka Shade - 'Movements' 12. Is download piracy in the news merely a smokescreen 2 actually teach people how 2 do it. ( IE: The I-Pod ) Leading a horse 2 greener pasture perhaps? Possibly.... I can see how news items about p2p downloading can be seen as a P.R. exercise for the physical products like iPod - They tell people the music is out there, and show a product that enables them to listen and share it. Download piracy in the news makes people aware that music is there for downloading/theft. It gets people used to getting their music by downloading it. Once the reigns are tightened on unauthorized digital distribution, the majority will most likely move to purchasing downloads as they don't have the know-how to find alternative methods of download piracy, or the inclination to learn. 13. Have u made any new friends in the club since joining? Most people on this forum don't speak their TRUE opinions on here for fear of reproach - it's difficult to make friends with spineless ass-kissers and sycophants. 14. Can art and business ever truly coexist in harmony? They're co-dependent - Art needs business to find an audience, business needs art to create a product to make a profit from..... I look at it as a sliding scale of economy: As one increases, the other diminishes until the natural business cycle comes full-circle again. You may now go ahead and delete my answers like the good little sheep-moderator that you are.

I had a little fun with this...
If Prince decided 2 give up music and become a waiter, would u go 2 his job and heckle him? A: Waiter, fine. Heckle… only if he consistently screws up my order and blames the corporate office. -The kind of waiter you are also tells what kind of person you are. What do u put on ur pizza? A: Peaces of Pepperoni – Peaces of Sausage - Xchz Is milk really just cow mucous? (a fair question) A: Is the color blue just purple minus the heat Favorite unreleased Prince track? A: I would not know… I’m sure some would say the longer versions of songs such as Billy Jack Bitch, Computer Blue, Darling Nikki, and others including Moonbeam Levels, Schoolyard, The Ball, the recently discussed Lovesexy remixes (how cool would that be to show up in the reflection room). But I would leave that to people that engage in that sort of thing. Otherwise, I dig the Psychedelic Funk that would scare most people. Did u know WB can only release one more "greatest hits" package and then it's finally OVER? Will u buy it or just play ur old copies? A:I think it is a shame that such work is being held hostage by miscommunication. I would buy the entire catalog if the audio was re-mastered (SACD or DVD-A) but I would rather have nothing if it is going to be revisionist history. The art is what the art was. After hearing some of the older tracks on Crystal Ball 1 come to life with (then) current technology, I have been aching to hear the back catalog in full fidelity. Has anybody in the club ever met a record xecutive in person? Ever seen one of them dance? A: no; no. -When is dancing a measure of anything anywhere outside a CONtest? Where do u hear new music most? A: Clubs, Movies, Music Choice TV How often do u buy music? A: As needed Will u ever give up CDs completely and just go 100% online 4 all ur music needs? A: No, count me an audiophile, I am not pleased with online music… new technology is not always better. Sometimes it is just technology. 1st music U ever purchased was: The Nylon Curtain, Billy Joel Last music U purchased was: Beck, Guero (last week) Is download piracy in the news merely a smokescreen 2 actually teach people how 2 do it. ( IE: The I-Pod ) Leading a horse 2 greener pasture perhaps? A: Is it right that the tobacco industry is the only industry that must advertise against itself? (I am a non-smoker) Have u made any new friends in the club since joining? A: Some interesting conversations, friendship is a bit more sacred to me. The sound checks at the One Night Alone shows and member-area concert tickets prove interesting meeting places. No bad experiences. Can art and business ever truly coexist in harmony? A: yes.

Heckle… only if he consistently screws up my order and blames the corporate office. -The kind of waiter you are also tells what kind of person you are. I got it. And a lot more.

I'm thinkin' it's about the criticism of the album content, no promotion, etc.. Is that what you meant? My answer would be that I'd tell my bodyguard to tell him not to look me in the eye nor speak to me. Then bring me my Cap'n Crunch and Soy Milk.
