With all the begging and pleading for a Musicology dvd, and they give us ringtones? What a joke. And they e-mail this garbage to us like it's big news.
Save the e-mails for concerts or dvd's or new music...you know,
SOMETHING ACTUALLY WORTHWHILE.

Okay, this is the first time I have considered purchasing ringtones. I personally would love to have Anna Stesia on my cell. Other ringtones never appealed to me before so I did not pay attention to the details. Is the charge a monthly charge? Please keep the flames for my ignorance to the minimum. Will some kind person please take pity on me and answer without sarcasm? Thank you!

I've heard Prince is the Crazy Frog! Remember the Camille speed-up voice?

I just got Glass Cutter without the vocals. Makes a great ringtone. As far as NPS goes.....I love that album and if you have ever seen Freaks on This Side live, then you know it is the jam.

Yeah sure. You try to play "Exodus" at a party and see how many people will stay inside.

LOL biggrin

I think all the Prince funk jams of the mid to end 90s were not convincing at all, at least they did not really made my body want to scream and shout ;=)
No, I did not like Days of Wild, Interactive, Pussy Control et al. and all the NPS stuff that much... But Exodus is a cool song, which somehow gets destroyed by becomming too wild though at some point (does this make sense???)

-----
Well I don't see anything wrong with the 90's jams. I play some of this stuff for people all the time and they really like it.

Floppy

nice idea in principle.

shame that the live versions suck so much (i think alphabet street is about passable - the rest are terrible as ringtones) and there's only a handful of the original tunes, none of which are particularly cool. confused

I am asking all Verizon Wireless Customers to contact Verizon to let them know that we want Prince ringtones. I have contacted them (see below) and this is their response. I hoping if enough fams contact them they will get with the program.

I appreciate your taking the time to let us know your comments and suggestions.
I apologize that the ringtone of your choice is not offered at this time.

Verizon Wireless is always looking for ways to enhance our way of doing business
to better meet the needs of our customers. Your comments have been forwarded to
the appropriate department for review and consideration. Your feedback provides
us with the perfect opportunity to hear exactly what you think, and often leads
to improvements you will see in the future.

As a quick reminder, you can dial #646 and send for minutes used, and dial #DATA
to check how many text messages sent and received. Also, you can dial #768(PMT)
to make a payment and dial #225 (BAL) for your balance. The calls are free.

Sincerely,

Shikina

As a Verizon Wireless customer, I would like to know why
Prince is not one of the artists from whom I can select ringtones from
Get Tones.

FYI....I have "Musicology" as my ring tone (actual song), and I'm a Verizon customer. Obtained it through GetItNow...can't remember which of the individual "services" it came through, and I did pay for the "one-time" download, but...it was worth it! Hope you can find it, too!

If you click on the LCD on top of the mixer just before entering the store you will get there.

Only wallpapers are shown now.

I've been looking all over the net for some decent Ringtones, and now here they are.
Wish I had a newer phone.

(But I kinda wished there would be something more special to be found on NPGMC on his B-day)

An interesting item to note is how proud of "NPS" he was. He's got Push It Up and Freaks on This Side on there. I agree that it's an okay album, it just came a little too late for its time, IMO.

and they're not even the GOOD songs from NPS! mad

They also have Come On which I love...that is the one I bought. They sound a bit muffled on my Sanyo 8100 but I had to buy one to try it out.
