Is there still a point in the club?

How much is it to join the club these days? Is it worth it? What exactly do you get these days. I quit after year 2 as I only found the soundchecks prior to concerts worth it. Year 1 I thought was a bargain with all the shit we could download...

So how is it these days?

$ 25,-

You don't get much, but you're a life time member so....
The only reason I go there is to buy tickets and new music from the musicology store !

I think it's worth it !!

The "25 $ for life/ lifetime membership" still is the most impossible and ridiculous thing I have ever seen a company do to gain new costumers.

I bet you that when the time comes that the NPGMC no longer exists and members are asking: "but what about my lifetime membership?", the "lifetime mebership" will all of a sudden mean the lifetime of the club, not of the members. Because that is the only possible reasonable interpretation of this deal.

Well duh, I sincerely hope that no one thought it meant their lifetime, and not the lifetime of the club!! If so, that's just sad!

Well darling, I hope you are not going to cry now, because that's exactly how most members interpret this deal.

I think what abrazo is getting at, and I fully agree is that NPGMC are rather sneaky and you can bet thatyour $25 is indeed for the lifetime of NPGMC BUT.....

Mark my words,when it comes time for something big NPGMC will be stripped down to nothing more than Reflection Room an all the perks will be moved to something new like the New Power Generation Super Music Club with a $250 price tag...and then that will be disbanded and the NPG scooter club will start up.

So yes it sounds good...but we all know they move the goal posts to keep the cash rollin' in...

Sign up to get this album....oh wait, that was just an idea, we arent actually going to make the album - you misunderstood.

The World tour coming soon...sign up for tickets - oh wait,when we said World you misunderstood...we meant the US and Canada.

Free Music...well,at a price

Abrazo in non-P & R post! So, what's your favourite Prince album then?
