OAKLAND IN THE HOUSE!!!  hey Bastard, whoever U r... SAN JO is representin biyaatch! Dirty-ass Oakland can burn as far I'm concerned. I'll be at both venues either way. WHY CAN'T WE JUST DANCE, WHY CAN'T WE JUST DANCE?! Ya know ya didn't have 2 acknowledge that...reality shows that NoCal in general is HUGE...and hopefully the original poster won't find out who u r... Let us just give props...Prince is taking this show to everybody. His opening night was 3/29 and due to sports games (glad the Lakers won cuz then I'da been REAL hot if they lost when they could have just let Prince have some more days), on 3/30 he went to BAKERSFIELD. Most people didn't even know Bakersfield had a stadium! AND he played Darlin' Nikki w/a bunch of folks on stage. Now that's what I call BRINGIN' it. BTW, Oakland in the house followed by headbang cracks me up. Last time I was in Oakland I kinda thought I was back in the Jungle in LA (yall who kno, kno it's tru). I like that Oakland is just across the bay and is (and I mean this positively) ghetto. Gary Payton, Jason Kidd...there's real life there. Then go across the bay and pretend... Lastly, and just observing, the "why can't we just dance" quote is great, but not when u go THERE too. And sometimes ya gotta go there. But sometimes we just need to be cognizant of the messages we send. Not everybody knows when we're kidding, especially in writing. Enjoy both shows...I'm going to June 5 and cannot WAIT! I hope my tix are in a place where I can see the pole cuz I didn't before (didn't matter cuz P had this door jam/arch thing and my seat had him framed in that thru most of the show...LAWD that man is good) | |

Could we be looking at a year+ long tour a la Purple Rain? I saw that tour 2x too. Once at the beginning and what seemed like a year later.
Maybe I can see him like, 3, 4, 5 times then! I'll start saving so I don't gotta lie to my bill collectors....hee hee | |
