WHY ARE FLOOR SEATS SOLD LAST IN TORONTO?

Let's make a thread out of this.

Since I did not get any mail about a pre-sale, I ended up in line at TicketMaster. Two minutes after the tickets went on sale, I got 11th row seats in the 105 section -- not that bad, but I was wondering... "Boy, those floor seats went fast. Prince can't have that many fans in T.O. that they would take the whole floor."

I wanted to know how fast tickets were selling, so I kept checking TicketMaster online. Last night, they were filling the nosebleed seats. Today, at 5, I checked again, and the seats available were floor seats.

How can this be?

I don't know for sure, but I thought I read somewhere where tickets were being doled out randomly...

Either that or NPGMC didn't release the floor seats in time for Ticketmaster...
Either way - whatta mess!

There's nothing random about the way Tickermaster behaved online. They filled up the arena seats, then the "rink" seats -- like they went "I forgot that's not an hockey game!"

My guess is that the presale went wrong and NPGMC then released all those seats.

Thats exactly right Aero.
I cant remember if U are a member of Newpowernorth@yahoogroups.com but Eric B posted last night around 10 pm he saw floor seats on sale.

I think NPGMC was late giving their numbers AND/OR the Leaf Playoff extended and it really brought MLSE to a standstill.

Best u can get at this moment (9 am wednesday) is row 13 or 14 east and west floors.
