That thing on stage

WHat is that thing Prince has on stage

It looks like a coat rack? He leaned on it a couple of times,but I didnt know what the purpose of it was? Just so he has something to lean on???
Anybody know?

I helped set that up in Oklahoma City and it is like a firemans pole that he can slide down to get to where the "backstage" are is

Is this the same stage that was used for the LoveSexy Tour? I wondered whether he had that stage in storage and decided to use it again for this tour. Of course a lot of things are missing from the LoveSexy Stage, but I wonder if it's the stripped down version of the exact same stage used in 88.

Hmmm. Looks like he stole half of McDonald's Golden Arches and painted it black...

I saw that on one corner of the stage, but he didn't use it as a pole. From my seat at Staples, and where he was much of the time (and during ALL of the acoustic set) he was framed by it. I thought that was sooooo cool, especially when I found out that the seats in my area couldn't see the sexy ass 1999 pole...

I saw him lean on it and sing a few times during the show and at the end of the show he jumped on it and slid down under the stage. LA Staples Center.

I didn't think there was anything exciting or special about it but the girl next to me seemed to find it amusing when he did it at the end of the show. She let out a little involuntary laugh-gasp, clapped and shook her head like, "That Prince! What a card."

Nothing like the '88 LoveSexy stage. Totally plain compared to that.

That arch thing? I just saw him use it when he sang "The Beautiful Ones" when he sang "the beautiful ones they always smash the picture he was pushing on it like it was a mirror picture or mirror that he was trying to break.
