Wouldn't it make more sense for them to sell the Prince insert to people who want to buy it instead of making folks buy a big ass Sunday paper and pay $12 to have it shipped?

I thought we could log in to the Star Tribune on Sunday and order that days e-edition. Weekday e-editions are $0.50. Not sure what Sundays daily price is. Of course, this is no good if you must have a hard copy version.

confuse

now, why would they do that? This is the main MPLS paper. I'm sure they have much more on their list to do than completely change the way they distribute their paper to please some Prince fans.

I figure, if some paper in the UK (for example) was writing up Prince, I wouldn't be able to drop them a note saying "Hi, I'm a Prince fan, would you be nice and send me a copy of the article you did on Prince" I'm guessing I would have to find someone to send it to me or pay through the nose...

no, because the insert comes with the paper. it wouldn't make sense just to send the insert.

I guess I'll order the fricking e-addition of the paper for $8.50, but it does, in fact, suck to pay this much for a paper. What can you do?

an Airport, Borders or Barnes and Noble (or a similar type store) may carry this paper . . . might want to check locally to see if they do. i know you can find chicago, NY, LA papers at these type of places . . . just a thought.
