I hope everyone realizes that lodging in the Houston area is probably going to be very expensive that weekend! Before buying an airline ticket, first make sure you can secure affordable lodging.

Andddd now apparently this is postposed.

I hate to be critical, but...when was this idea first conceived? This was definitely too little notice in general.

It was a nice idea, but maybe not very well thought out?

Having recently read the unique Resolution from Harris County to honour Prince's Superbowl performance ("mind-boggling...impeccable...searing..he seemed to command the elements as well"), I'm confused - is there now definitely NOT going to be an anniversary celebration? Who was going to perform... or was this always a piece of pie in the sky?

My impression was that it would be a concert, but maybe I am wrong?

At any rate, it was not announced until about a week before it was supposed to take place...and even then, it was postponed from Thursday to Sunday, and then "postponed", and then outright cancelled. WTH ?! confuse
