The prices are pretty decent for 4 days of activity.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I'm sorry, but there's only one person worthy of paying that kind of money to see at Paisley and we all know who that is. We also that will never happen again. This is ridiculous.

I read on another site that the tickets had nearly soldout. I hope the Revolution tours during Wendy and Lisa's scoring hiatus because I want to go next year.

I wouldn't call it a rip off, people can choose if they want to pay or not, seems they priced it correctly as it's nearly sold out.

I decided I didn't want to pay it, i'd like to go back to Paisley Park, I visited in 1991 and did a private tour with Alan Leeds as the band I managed were considering recording there, so for me going back is mixed feeling, I have good memorys from my 1991 trip, it felt alive, I just don't want to lose that memory as the vibe would have changed now.

I'm hoping there will be a European tour from the bands like Revolution/Time/Sheila E etc.

I think there is an over reaction to the pricing. Upper end of event pricing, yes... but GA tickets at $499 equals £124.75 a day. For four days of special guests, perfomances, tours including The Revolution and The time up close and personal. Five hours a day.

That works out at $24.95 an hour. The standard tours are just over an hour and are over $38.

If they keep their word, get it organised and do it right then this is a reasonable cost.

Most festivals are a similar price daily. Yes Prince is gone and you could argue it maybe not worth paying such a price for lesser known artists... but the organisational costs are the same. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity for most people wanting to go.

I agree the VIP price is way too high! But then again they know some people will pay it. They just better make it damn special i guess.

So it isn't a rip off. Nobody is being played... IF they do it right, as i said.

VIP is priced too high, but if you are going to attend, with the cost of Travel/Hotels/Expenses, you may as well pay the extra for the VIP package, I guess that's why they sold out quickly, plus there are probably allot more GA tickets.

Just seems crazy that you could have seen Prince at Paisley Park on one of the party nights for about $20 a year ago.
