Cheesecake funk night 2. Currently in the car outside waiting to get in to the official lot. Been told to watch out about parking on the dead end on McGlynn Road which used to be the main place to park; apparently cops patrol it now? Anyway, performance seems likely tonight!
Played for maybe 45 to an hour, opened with solo keyboard and vocal doing Raspberry Beret and Starfish & Coffee among others. Band joined for some improvised jams, with P on guitar for only the final one. After a while Kirk invited us all out to the movie theater. Hah, so much for late night, the whole place was being shut down before 1! Still loved it!
The L4OA room was set up with tables and pillows in front of the stage. They played the Andy Allo acoustic set. Prince came on stage by himself for a piano set. From what I remember:

Did any1 try the soulified hotcakes? that sounded really good! as soon as i got within a block of paisley park, the air was full of hotcake funk. well, a series of retrograde events kept me from gettin there until the last song, but just as i got there prince was saying somethin cool about transcending, getting in the zone at any time The capacity crowd in the npg room kept me from seein the band, but could hear them good! i'm glad it was a full house, and it was a lot of fun as always to dance in the big room! Loved to see all the variety of people gettin their pajam on. Saw a big shooting star near Sirius while walking to the theater, but got there too late too :/.
while dancing, a paisley angel spoke 2 me about how every1 wanted 2 dance, but were they really dancing? then she danced in some circles around me, and my feet turned from lead in2 feathers! jumping with ease There were a lot of funky new verisons of songs being played. 3arlier, i had met an angel from 3cuador who prescribed some bible verses 2 me, and the next day i met an angel from 3thiopia, who told me i had a lot of potential, and he sang me a lovely song about an october flower -- that's the month when the mountains in 3thiopia are just yellow with flowers. so, just wanted to add those details, as a chance to tell any1 reading, u have a lot of groovy potential

Are you sure? I'm a stickler when it comes to setlist, it drives me crazy when I read reports that omit the setlist entirely or are vague, & When Will We B Paid was definitely the 1st song he did with the band & by the time he did Girls & Boys with Love Or Money the band was already there, I remember Adrian's lead line on sax during Girls & Boys.

Did anyone notice the woman that came out of the stage door with Prince before he got on stage? She had long curly and blonde hair. She sat on a folding chair while he performed. Someone also brought her a fur blanket at some point (no idea how she could have been cold it was hot as heck in the L4OA room!)
She was gorgeous-not sure if she's a new protege or girlfriend but wondered who she was!

I'm like 95% sure he started Girls and Boys alone and the band either joined in on Girls and Boys or Love or $. Prince Vault also has the set list in that order.
