So sounds like he's gone on a night out to watch a gig and they are trying to sell tickets based on him attending, at least they are warning he won't be playing.

Best version of Days Of Wild ever! I never have seen/heard this one live, in-person before. The arrangement with the NPG Horns was fantastic!!! They really nailed it and set the tone for a dance party of epic proportions. Simply amazing.

Because a) he still loves the funk and obviously wants to play both, and b) he knows he can't sustain 3rdEye on it's own for very long.

I agree with A. But there's no reason he can't sustain 3rd Eye Girl, it just depends on the quality/reception of their output. People - myself included - love them live.

Exactly. It seems he has 3EG specifically for his rock side, and where he gets to actually be the featured, solo artist, and play more guitar. Isn't that what a lot of fans were asking for in the past? So now they got what they asked for. Secondly, as fans, we know Prince has many musical sides to him, with many fans who love the funk, r&b, slow ballads, blues rock, jazz, soul sides, etc., of Prince. Prince never seemed to be an artist whopigeonholed himself into one genre of music, which apparently seems to be the reason, in the past, he created other bands as an extension of his music, but didn't really perform with them, as they were known, separate bands playing his music for him.

With the Prince of 'now', he has 3EG and the NPG band/including the horn section, so he gets to perform with both his current bands, while participating in his own music interests/and perfoming extensions of himself (musically) with them. As mentioned, with 3EG he gets to display his rock side/and be more of the featured/solo artist, playing more guitar, with 3EG as a backing band. With the NPG/including the horn section/backup trio singers, Liv/ShelbyJ/Elisa, he gets to be Prince the performer and musician-more loose on stage, while featuring the talent of some of his band members, and inviting other artists on stage to perform with him. With both these bands, we get to experience all the music sides of Prince and then some. A little bit of sumptin', sumptin' for everyone.

Andy was sitting with Prince in a VIP booth. She didn't come on stage. Prince came on stage briefly and wiped Liv's brow with a handkerchief....lol

Ok cool I couldn't tell from Funkenberry's tweet whether she was onstage or not or whether her and P noticed each other or not lol. So cool hopefully we'll get another collaboration soon!

I wish he would tour and announce the shows that are 3rdeyegirl and the ones that are NPG so that we could pick which one we want to see. Two nights in each city(one with each band would be cool). I want to see the 3rdeyegirl show and if I went and got the NPG show I would be very disappointed so I wish he would announce it so the fans could pick which ones they want to see. That way the rock fans could see the rock show and R&B fans can get their show. Just a hope that Prince would consider this. I know some people would go to both but I could care less about the R&B show and I am sure R&B fans could care less about the rock show. This way everyone wuld know what to expect and would be happy
