it seems Doug E Fresh is now on the mic.

next tweet will probably say larry is on backing vox for the new album

and wrote all the lyrics together with carmen electra.

this has to be a wind up falloff

Throw in an Ida Nielson interlude where she speaks suggestively in Danish....and I think this album's failure will be complete.

Hearing from our No Name Reporter that Hannah Ford handles lead vocals on a lot of Plectrum Electrum.

sad

Ford, you seem like a sensible woman. You should of had the guts to say no!

SirLancelot

So around 2:30am, I decided to go. Got there just before 3am and waltzed in. First person I spotted was Tyson Beckford. Then I saw Hannah, Donna, Ida and Josh, and a short while later, Liv (who looked amazing) and Luke James. No sign of Prince. About 10 mins later, the DJ said that was it for the night, but that the party was moving downstairs. Headed down, and less than 15 feet away was Prince in a gold/yellow outfit with a black shaggy vest. About 10 mins later, he leaves leading Tamron Hall by the hand. Bummer, I thought, but they came back about half an hour later. As far as I can tell, the only Prince/3EG songs they played were "Pretzelbodylogic" and "Funknroll."

Was it worth going to hear those two songs? No.

Was it worth going to hear those two songs, dance to an awesome DJ set, have Prince smile at me as he walked past and see him and the band get down and shake their tail feathers? Two words: bucket list.

I was Sir Lancelot, I didn't want you to be misled.

+ just explained that everything on the album was recorded completely analogue, all instruments at once.

This is the first time anybody BUT the band themselves has heard the music...

So, what...fixurlifeup, screwdriver and a bunch of other songs will not be on the album?

That's good....saves room for new tunes.

He he...maybe Tamron has a story that won't make the prompter on the days news...but can still be well read by the days dreamy expression.

Three songs were played (one of them was a completly different sounding remix to Funk & Roll).....And yeah...seeing Prince dance in the DJ was cool....He was really laidback...

Why is this under "Concerts", when it was a listening party featuring two recorded songs from a forthcoming new album??

Hannah posted on fb that it was a listening party for the new single "Pretzelbodylogic," so now it makes sense.

If only luv4u was as quick to answer this legitimate question as she is to inexplicably lock non-duplicate threads and move other threads to incorrect forums.

I mean seriously, luv4u, does your logic make sense even to yourself? If so, would you care to explain it? Because over the last few months the org has become more and more difficult to use in order to get actual information about Prince and his music, and as I see it, it's primarily because of your bizarre moderating decisions. This was not a concert. It should not be in the concert forum. And a Rolling Stone article that discusses this can have its own thread. It's much easier than searching through all of the forums and then having to go through 25 pages of a thread because you lock everything that has anything even tangential to do with that topic.

Even if there are duplicate threads.... So what? It's not like this place is teeming with activity in the last couple years.

It's also quite bizarre that so-called dupe threads get locked, but she doesn't go ahead and add the one she's pointing to as news on yhe front page so that people can easily find it. Befause it IS news.

Frankly there are too many sub forums herr for the low level of traffic. I don't see why Associated Artists, Concerts, and Prince sites can't be folded back into the main Prince forum
