Prince’s concerts at the Marquee scheduled for April 30 and May 1 will now be only 1 show per night, due to changes in production.

The door times nightly will be 6:30 p.m.

The show start times nightly will be 8:00 p.m.

We hope that all ticket buyers for the late shows will be able to attend the early shows. If not, full refunds are available at point of purchase.

Has Prince played his new songs "Breakfast Can Wai" and "Girl Thang"????????????

I know these are more R&B feel but it would be nice if he played these so fans can see what they sound like live. Anyone???

Or so said the politburo.

How vague can one be while not explaining simple things?

Did they sell out these shows?

Or did they get close?

Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

In defense of Tempe- it **is** right next to Phoenix. Phoenix usually represents. It's the cost of the tickets.

Hubby and I are in Tucson- a quick ride to Tempe- but we drove to Las Vegas and stayed the night for less than tix to Tempe.

Love the man, but just can't hang with the high rollers.

Have fun all whose going.

Further--- where's the PR these days? I didn't hear of this on the radio or in print. No hype all over the talk shows.

And what a bummer- no merchandise. I'd have bought 2 t-shirts right away. That's like bragging rights that you went to this awesome event. And it's a bit o' PR too.

Yeah I think he over reached with the prices this time. Lotta folks in LA just saw him 2 years ago for $25. None of the So CAl shows are sold out.

Spending $200 for a GA ticket to a not exactly tiny theater is not really that tempting if you're not hardcore. I think I'm pretty hardcore but I also gotta eat.

Late show in Phoenix on a weeknight with a high ticket price? Yeah I wouldn't have expected that to sell out either.

Hopefully you will get one nice long show.

So you can't afford the high ticket prices but complain that you can't buy overpriced t-shirts. Really?

TICKET PRICES

Get Real.

I would have gone. I went to each of his shows since '97 in Arizona.

Um. $40 for a t-shirt which I can wear for a long time vs. one ticket at $230 for 90 minutes. What are you even saying?

It's 2 different things. Yes. $95 was a better price and I wish there were t-shirts which I would have bought.

Move on.

omfg Wow, ticket sales must really have been weak! They're anticipating being able to accomodate all the late show ticket buyers at the early show?!

I would say that the early Vegas show I went to appeared well attended. I was in the very back row of the balcony and there were very few empty seats. I helped sell one ticket earlier in the day, when I told a tour guide Prince was in town! lol

Called the venue to see if they would be discounting the tickets after the start of the show.....nope. I'm going tomorrow night and tried to win tickets for tonight but a dummy didn't know the words to 1999 (and they claimed to be a prince fan). Three of us had to get the answer right to win the tickets.

I can't stand not going to see him tonight. I can only imagine wha I'm missing and I HATE it!
