advice on my concert-going plans...

I'm able to go to both Toronto shows, the London show and, if i really have to, the Ottawa show. Ticket prices vary depending on the venue and the seats. The budget is $300, $400 at the most (I'm a lowly grad student). The question is, what combination of venues/seats will optimize my Prince budget? I've got purple choice paralysis.

My current idea is to buy really good/hugely expensive tickets to one Toronto show and utter garbage tickets for the other. The pros are:

- Toronto is easiest to get to for me (travelling to another city will cost $50+, sort of negating the cheaper ticket prices).
- I'll see Prince from nice seats at least once
- I assume going to both Toronto shows would give me a larger setlist variety than going to, say, one Toronto and London.

- I won't kick myself for missing a live performance of _____ by choosing the 'wrong' Toronto date to attend.

The (possible?) cons:

-If the garbage tickets are REALLLLY terrible then I might be frustrated with the 'ruined' concert experience.

-ACC is significantly larger than the venues in London and Ottawa.

So my questions to the board are, how bad is the ACC? How bad are nosebleed seats in general?

Thanks friends!

Hello FUSK,

If U go 2 Toronto, sec 108 midway up and sec 119 midway s/b excellent seating. After going 2 a few W2A gigs, I was most pleased with the view from those sections.. In addition, I suggest skipping the 1st show and wait 2 find out if there will b an aftershow that first night - $ well spent if there is...

Buy tix 4 the 2nd show in those sections I mentioned and then decide if another venue is worth it 2 U. The shows r great, but similiar in many ways.... Aftershows in NY/NJ were difficult 2 attend (if they happened) but well worth the $ if at the right venue and U can get into them lol

got Prince?

spend a lot of money on one show and enjoy it! If you're close enough to the stage and get on...You'll be on cloud9

thanks guys!

I don't know if i want to miss the first show gambling on attending the aftershow... I don't even know how I'd find out where it was. I guess just by checking here? Don't these things start/finish in the wee hours of the morning?

well, I got a couple of tickets for section 108, row 12 for Friday! Also some "cheap" tickets for Saturday. I don't think it really matters where they are.
