Manic Melkweg Monday

Am I just too tired to see or is there really nothing about the second Melkweg concert here on the org?
Anyway I went there after having missed the 1st, and had a great time. Even if you've seen him 20+ times he can still surprise you. He played songs I never expected to hear live again. Chocolate, Mutiny. Kiss unlike you've ever heared it before and a kick ass final jam on Controversy.
Truly fantastic.

That Prince always manages to surprise everyone .. that's what amazes me the most about him, and it just shows how very unique he is!!! After all these years, he is still not doing the "ordinary" or what people expect. He always throws in such treats as that second Melkweg concert, which must have been truly extraordinary!! You guys are lucky to have witnessed this. biggrin

Just like Bob Dylan Prince has a huge back catalogue from which he can pick songs at will. Rediscovering hisvown musical past can be just as fascinating as creating new songs. Having said that, what would really top it all off is kick ass new album!
