And then When Doves Cry, Hot Thing and Nasty Girl. Then they played the intro of Darling Nikki before Prince said "No, we can't play that". Then I Would Die 4 U. Two minutes break and then the three girls sang together (Make You Feel My Love?) before ending the show with Gold.

The show started 20.36 and ended 23.10 (approx. 2 h 34 min). Prince was in a very good mood, and they had about 30 people from the audience on stage at the same time!

Maceo had his own concert on July 28th.

So it was known from the beginning, that he would not be there in Cologne.

Prince's reference to the latest happenings in Norway was mainly; "Come together. Show love". Basically what we have been doing. He could have said a lot more on the subject if he wanted to, but I guess what he did say was OK and the choice of songs I think was suitable.

Nice surprise to have Maceo on stage, he was a highlight for me. Also, I liked Mountains, Come together, Cool. I even liked Make you feel my love, which I thought was a bit boring in Rotterdam last week. I missed the guitar solo on Gold. Great to have him playing for 2,5 hours!

AND I danced on the stage (group 1)!

Compared to the shows I saw this autum in Bergen and Herning, Prince was not at his best last night in Oslo. I missed his long guitarsolos, I disliked the samplerset, and think he should throw out "Gold", with is not a very good song. I also thinks is better when "Purple Rain" is played at the end.

Though, Prince was both humble and dignified, considering the terror-attacks in Oslo 7/22-11. I espesially appreciated the use of the strofe "Feel good, feel better, feel wonderful" in many songs. Musciology, Pop Life and the Oslo-jam with Come Together was highlights for me.

After what happened this is a tough gig to get right! Terrorism can't rule but that doesn't change the fact people are obviously still in shock, nervous and are now reevaluating everything.

After last song "Gold", we were still waiting for Prince to come back on stage, so we waited for like 20-30min, but then they turned on the lights and started to take stuff from stage, so it was really over. A bit suprised that there were only 2 encores, but still can't complain, because the show was 2hrs+ length, I went on stage, was at first row, hugged Andy, danced with Shelby, talked to John Blackwell and saw Prince sooo close!
