Posters on street after concerts.

After the Rotterdam concert first night, I found posters in the middle of the street clearly put on the path to the subway. They were specially printed for the concerts he's doing right now.

Does he have them put them there himself. I can only assume so.

Anyone notice this on the other two nights? Or at other concerts he's done in the past?

Well, according to the guys working at the Hopfarm, he brings his own merchandise...make what you want of that, (they did start throwing the t-shirts from the stage last Sunday) but nothing surprises me with Prince...in a surprising sorta way wink

If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

Definetly.

It felt to me they were placed there for fans as a nod. They are much better than the festival poster of Prince.

I should have taken more perhaps. But Prince teaches modesty, so I only took two.

Also, I'm taught not to take things from streets. biggrin

I'm in regret mode now. I also saw a stand selling these wooden made mini guitars of famous musicians.

They had the purple and gold symbol guitar. I should have simply bought. So cute.

Ed. Actually, I thinkI didn't buy because they didn't have the artists. I would bought if they were action figures.

But a Prince action figure has never been made I think.

Ha ha, thank you!

Not too realistic though.

I always wondered why heavy metal/hardrock has so much more merchandise than other types of music... You can get any kind of hero from there in a realistic detailed figure... And pretty much any other collectible you can think of.

But it is weird there is no realistic Prince action figure. Also not in some 'classic series'.

You can find them easily on the internet.

If you are from Holland :

http://www.rockart.nl/min...uitars.htm

I bought some there, the can order black, white, purple, gold ones also if not shown on their site. Just contact them. They we're probably at North Sea.

I got a white cloud guitar through them, postage went well.

Someone built that himself I think. That's pretty good!

Scored a poster that was on a pillar near the Ahoy, it is full size and in the back of my car. (still) It is a bigger version of the poster they had at the merchandize stand.

I didn't really like those. Nor the t-shirts.

But I love the 20ten design. So awesome. Maybe they're fascimiles, maybe they're real, hard to say. They seem real, very well printed.

I think Prince had put them there. They weren't from dealers, because they wouldn't leave their stuff when they can still sell at Luxemburg.
