Wow, just back from the concert. It really was amazing! So much better then yesterdays show. (He apologized for the bad audio on behalf of the NPG).

That is an awesome setlist!!

Way better than the first show's.

Hope this got recorded. I'm still mad that we haven't heard a recording of that guitar-heavy show he did a month back in LA.

Also back from the show. It was amazing, great start, much better sound then yesterday and "When We´re Dancing Close And Slow" ! cool

Just missed the piano section and 1 or 2 more hits like Sometimes It Snows, When Doves Cry, Little Red Corvette or something like that. Again, a pretty guitar rock based show.

All in all a good show! biggrin

Just got home. Show was great. The first 15 minutes or so were amazing. He apologized for the bad sound last night.

"From our soundman John and the NPG we like to apologize for the sound last night. We think we got it under control now. I won't tell you his last name in case you want to look him up". lol

RealMusician

Yeah, he apologized for the sound from last night!

Tonight's sound was perhaps clearer and better balanced, but still extremely loud (I was standing in the exact same place at both shows). Perhaps even louder than yesterday, especially the guitar-heavy numbers.

But overall it was a much better show, which I'm sure most reports will confirm.

The setlist says it all, a lot of strong non hits for real music lovers or die-hard fans.

Colonized mind

I like it there

Bambi

Guitar

Prince guitar playing was extremely hot on these songs.

Mountains fully sung also by Prince and full version.

Alphabet Street was funky and speedy, loved it.

Dear Mr Man on bass !!!

Who ever thought he would play When we're dancing close and slow, a ultimate surprise and beautifull played. Joy in repetition, the love we make, man did i mention every song now of being great.

Oh no, Andy Allo was terrible, sang out of key, played guitar very bad,

So The look of love and other stuff she sang wasn't good as far as i'm concerned.

She can't draw either hahaha, my daughter of 4 makes better drawings, I probably don't get the meaning of that. Maybe that's the art part for the coming art festival in Denmark.

Ï'm off to sleep. Going back tomorrow. Only thing left for Prince to spoil us with is a long solo piano set.

Oh my what a amazing show! And what a revange on the critics (including me) from yesterday.

Incrediable versons of "Joy..."!! "The love we make" was magic, and great arrangement. "When we dancing.." on of many highlights!!! And "Colonized Mind" superb. "I like It there" was also amazing!

He was not playing safe tonight, he showed us once again what a amazing musician he is!

Im so tired right now, but a great show, and at this moment one of the best (except aftershows) ive seen in a long time. Maybe Montreux 2009 was as good, but I think I have to go all the way back to the ONA shows. Well, we see in the morning Good night smile

her addition to the band has ruined the whole experience for me. but as long as prince is having fun that's the main thing.

good to hear so many positive reports coming in about his performances and choice of songs though.

he never disappoints as a musician. heart

This show was really mindblowing, especially the first hour. I was so happy he didn't play Purple Rain and other hits for the 1021st time, but instead went on a trip down to mellow & funklane.

I was standing first row and the sound was perfect. Heard from others that there was a lot of reverb in the harder parts of the show.

Andy Allo is off course not the most virtuosic musician, but the joy & freshness she brings on stage is really delighting. I got goosebumps on the songs she did the lead vox. Her vox were great on Burt Baharach's "The Look Of Lofe" for example, brought tonight in a crazy disco version with Maceo freestyling over it. Very sexy and uplifting and for me one of the highlights of the set. And she was great on "The Love We Make", too.

The rest of the set was also fingerlickin': JIR, Mountains (with Seal) Dear Mr. Man...

All in all a very nice show and one of the best I've seen yet. Great he did take some risks tonight and not played safe!

Yes!!! That's what I'm talking about. Stop playing "Purple Rain", 'Kiss" etc...And play some random ass rock jams.

Wow!!! I really love that setlist.
