show was excellent, better than the previous saturday at forum (5.14).

maceo only sat in on 2-3 songs in the main set but final encore they went OFF with some truly nasty jamming. maceo also had a stellar solo in purple rain. what an inspired collaboration

tonight was my last - saw 4 forum shows - i wonder what they (he) has in store for the final night. i figure maceo will be there again.

this has been a truly legendary run. so happy i got to attend a few

oh and i see i missed the prince sit in with MJB...drat!

Had a great time at the show but was deathly afraid of the security guards' crackdown on cameras - actually worked out fine for just enjoying the ride. But if anyone was braver than I was, please put 'em up!

You're right about that. He came out on fire tonight. LRC was the best I've ever seen it (including HOB show). He played extended guitar on it. Beautiful.

Sounds like a good show, would be great to see Prince and Mary together.

I tried to go to a bathroom between MJB and P's sets and couldn't find the men's...I thought it was odd that there wouldn't be a men's room on that side of the building. Now I know why...that was some bullshit. The way things began breaking down at the Forum re the venue management, I shouldn't be surprised.

Just heard someone who works at the Forum say that Sunday's show is NOT the last.

Next weekend, too?

Did anyone else think it was too loud? It definitely sounded louder than past shows.

Saw a woman kicked out tonight for iPhone pix of the screen and multiple people having to delete pix off their devices. I looked around several times after halfway thru the show and almost no one had cameras out...
