Hi all,

Staying at hotel around 2-3 miles away from the forum, after the show we were thinking of cabbing it. Will it be easy or do after the show or do we need to go somewhere and then call one. Don't know the area, any ifo would be great.

If you're going to wait until after the show, I'd suggest you wait for most of the crowd to leave--being stuck in traffic in a cab might get costly.

You could hook up with someone here on the org that's driving and ask them to drop you of at a more convenient location to wait/call a cab.

I wouldn't necessarily hang outside or walk, not that the area is that bad--its just dark and if you're unfamiliar with the area can't say how safe it might be.

It was late when the concert was over and it didn't seem there were many establishments open in the immediate vicinity.

I did see several cabs lining up after the show. Ask one of the people in a yellow jacket (security) about it when you get there. They should be able to tell you the best location to wait for a cab and how long the wait might be.

Wow, i'm glad you responded, I saw noooo cabs.

I will need a cab as well. Staying at the Holiday Inn LAX. Anyone else staying there? Love WiFi in the air right now on my way from KY.

Welcome! we are having beautiful weather here today

thanks to all for the responces, I guess will try to cab it Saturday. Anyone know if there are any places close we can walk to and call there if we can't find a cab there.

You might also want to check outside the Forum Club, I would bet they have a pickup spot near the entrance.

If u are gonna drive I would suggest u park at the mortuary right across the street from The Forum. It's right next to a fish food dive and they only charge $15. The fish dive allows u to park in their parking lot as well. It beats paying $25 at The Forum and makes it so easy to escape from all the traffic. We arrived at 7pm both nights and found a parking spot both times without any problems. Good luck!
