Cyndi is a great, evolving artist. Experimenting with different genres of music throughout the years, respected by her peers, and has influenced many musicians. Still touring, and still nominated for Grammy Awards. An avid campaigner for gay rights and equality with her True Colors Fund. Amazing woman. Amazing musician.

Sorry, yeah, I forgot all the awards P has won in the last ten years.

Let's be honest, most people in the real world don't know that he is still making ( very substandard) albums......

And i never said he was winning awards, only you have mentioned that.

You know he is still making albums, so what makes you think others do not know?

How would people know??

No marketing, no communication no general releases, no hits.

This is all very basic if you want people to know about you.

So what? You didn't like what she sounded like at the Prince concert. She has enough fans and supporters.

powersoul99: Just another sarcastic, ignorant, negative fuck on the .org.

And who the fuck said anything about winning "all those awards in the 80's"? I mentioned she was nominated and still nominated for Grammys. Yeah, she has won, but awards are irrelevant to this thread, just like your ignorant comment. Maybe it would help if you actually READ a comment before making yourself sound like an assclown here.

Gotta love powershitetalk!

Anyone who disagrees with her comments is a troll lol lol

Yeah, but you're right, Mirror readers bought the paper with the free cd cause they love Prince so much.

Just like they run to buy the paper when there is a free bingo card to win 3 pounds.

Said it before, will say it again...gotta luv the org!!!

Actually she won a grammy this year for best traditional blues album. She performed pretelecast with buddy guy who won best contemporary blues album (weird right) and others.

Wow you must not get out much because LotusFlower stayed on the billboard chart for over a year and a half. This is great for an artist that is not on a major record label which means no airplay. The only people who do not know he is putting out music are the idiots that need the media to tell them what to listen to.

And P has been nominated for award over the last ten years and has even won a few.

Get out more or stop commenting on this topic. You have no idea what you are talking about.

Christ you're agressive!

I still maintain that most people don't care much about Prince.

Stop someone in the street and ask them what P's last album was...they'll probably say Purple Rain.

And lastly, I know you Americans are lovely people but I am sorry to tell you that what happens in on the Billboard chart doesn't matter to most most people either.

So stick that up your tuss and smoke it, honey!!!

smile

If there is one thing i hate, it's Prince bashing on a PRINCE fan site. Does CL have a fan club? Slate Prince on that.

Don't get me wrong, I love Cindy, as an artist & a woman. However, you are OUT OF YOUR MIND to compare her to Prince. As far as music goes, pfft. Album sales....pffft. Awards...who gives a !?%@ about those. production, quantity/quality??? When was the last time she sold out MSG's night after night? She doesn't dance, doesn't wear heels as well. Does she play an instrument? Prince is a genius, Cindy does great at airports.

I wish you all well. Cindy included.

The only person who started the comparison was to put Cindy down......anyone was basically saying that Cindy deserves respect ( and yes she does paly an instrument...guitar)

Personally I hate when Prince fans ( and I am one myself) can't bear to see their idol criticised.

I wish U all well... and heaven....
