Prince_Live tweets @ shows - real or imposter?

Has anyone figured out if the Prince_Live twitter handle is an official person within the P camp...or a fan gone off the deep end trying to trick us? I've seen a lot of people post about these tweets and wondered if you think it's a good source for info?

I think it's legit. Maybe not Prince but somebody that's got some info.

It's a fun twitter page anyway.

It looks to me like a shill from livenation. Their job is to hype Prince and/or this tour. It's a PR person of some sort. It's their job to do this. They probably do a few other things, too.

Thanks for that. The "fake" backstage "now we take out places" pic does makes this twitter account look really suspicious.

If it is real, I wonder why they won't just verify the account just to shut down the mystery.

I just noticed something...

The moquake thread said that the person who won the Prince tickets didn't have a twitter account for a very long time. I was thinking maybe DAYS.. that person's been tweeting since February. How is that "not a long time"?

I still think it's someone in the P camp. I just think they should probably verify the account to stop all the confusion.

Could be possible, because I doubt they could have access to giving backstage passes at MSG if they didn't have some type of affiliation with either LiveNation, Prince's camp or MSG. If their intention is to keep the hype moving and getting people to buy tix for these shows, by the mystery of their tweets....well, it seems to be working.lol

OK. I think I've discovered something that proves that the account is FAKE.

On 18th December, Prince_Live tweeted a photo showing (supposedly) an empty MSG:

This was followed on 19th December with the following tweet:

Now we take our places http://yfrog.com/h00uodj
12:41 AM Dec 19th via Yfrog

If you follow that link to Yfrog, you'll see a photo of a backstage area. We are clearly meant to believe it is the backstage area of MSG for Prince and/or his crew. I downloaded the photo and used TinEye (http://www.tineye.com) to do a reverse image search.

It turns out that the photo of that backstage area was FIRST posted on a blog dedicated to photography (specifically the Leica camera). The shot was taken by Andreas Läsker, manager of a band called Fantastischen Vier. It was taken during one of the band's concerts in Mannheim.

It's the second photo in that blog post, which was made on 12th November 2010.

So: why would an official Prince or LiveNation tweet use an image from somewhere/sometime else and imply it was taken at MSG or during a Prince concert? I think we know: FAKE!
