I passed in front of The Negresco Lobby few minutes ago (22.30 Nice time) but no evidence of Le Petit Prince.

I hope for an aftershow too but for now everything is silent...

Actually, the girls were at the Negresco in Nice and Prince relocated to the Hôtel Martinez in Cannes.

After a lot of troubles with the Geneva show (hotels reservation and ticket, train fares)...at least I got a wonderful show in Nice!!!

And - oh my God - I got the first Prince aftershow in my entire life (what a beautiful reward...)

I will always treasure this moment. 75 minutes of real delirious funk for real delirious funky people.

I wanna thank so much the group italian guys who gave me a car lift to The Club Palais in Cannes after the gig in Nice...

The aftershow was soso.

They fiddled with the gear for way too long.

The environment was awfull as well.

An overpriced disco-type setting for 'upper class' where the only incentive is alcohol to dumb away the dumb beats provided by a different imported DJ each night at insane and unnecessary volumes.

Why in heaven did they select this place as aftershow venue? It is too small for the band, and very suboptimal for the crowd.

Are Prince's instructions so weird?

Is the promotor/producer out of his mind?

Out of ideas? Do they need help?

You cannot say -with a straight face- that there aren't any better places in the Nice/Cannes/etc area. (Same for the Brussels location.)

Yes, I am a spoiled brat, I saw a few concerts. But you cannot mean to say that this was a good show in a good environment. And yes, I saw at least one probbaly Britiish woman hear say 'fuck off' to us when we both gave her the show a spontaneous 'soso' rating. (without previous debate about this sensitive matter!)

Elsewhere I read that the champagne bottles (400 of them) that were distributed among the audience, as a gift from a Pakistan billionaire, were 1000 euros in value each.

This happened before the aftershow started.

NPG has already taken it down!

This was the setlist that was supposed to be played at Le Club Palais in Cannes. Had the technicians at the club been topnotch, the instruments would have been ready and Prince could have started at 2:00 (he arrived at the club at 1:30). Ah well, his short performance was funky as hell. If you haven't heard it yet, it's out:
