Looks like at good setlist. Glad he's shaking it up a bit... the vegas/O2 setlist was getting tired. however... i wish he would drop Nothing Compare's 2 U. It's never sounded that great in my opinion.

The people that were standing in line to get in were all dressed very properly. Women in dresses and men in casual suits or nice pants with a jacket.
Strange that it looks like people wore t-shirts. It was very decent public.

Thanks for the setlist. I would pee my pants if I got to see him do Joy in Repetition. I'm really digging these setlists. I hope he brings this back to the states, preferably NYC!

Yes, you would. nod

So what did the arrangments sound like? Was LRC the same as at Montreux? The Love We Make is a slow pick for an opener (although it's a classic) how did it go down with the crowd? Was it a faithful version or did he mix it up a bit? In the second show why was Peach aborted? What was The Long And Winding Road like (sounds like an opportunity for a killer guitar solo)?

biggrin

U got to be kidding me. just heard that on the C3LABRATION set. Sucked big time IMO. I really love the studio rendition, but the live one on that set sucks BIG time

Between all my bitterness lol , does it count that I heard from outside The love we make (which sounded awfully great) and shhh, which sounded a lot like the version I heard in 1995 in Den Bosch, then I had to go eat with my husband and kid and when we returned I heard Purple Rain which, sorry, wasn't interesting for me.

I have to admit, shamefully, that hubby said around 5.30pm to eat some McDonalds and post at the Opera from 6pm on. But we had eaten around 4.30pm and the last thing I wanted was to shove some McDonalds down my throat, I wanted normal food and not that early..... I feel pretty bad I didn't follow his advice, he was mad at me for it and the restaurants only open around 7pm, very late. At 8.30 my kid really was hungry so we had to go. Yes, it sucks, I could have heard the entire first show, sound was very good outside. I was standing underneath the big three windows/balconees.

Good thing though is that I know I'll have the bootleg when I get home biggrin

That looks like the place they used as a template for the NPGMC theatre-the time when you logged in and went to the big room with the fountain etc
