no aftershow in Montreux? After the two shows we went to the Jazz club, but it was so full and it seems like there was no set up for an aftershow, so we left....wise or dumb? | |

well all the last live things he's done-since 2006 at least-have had the afters sold when the mains went on sale
and-at nearly dinnertime now the day after-i'd say you were wise  | |

ppl who were not there, dont b disappointed, he didnt per4med ... he wanted (we saw him arriving at 3:30), but eye guess it took 2 long 2 organize all the technical stuff and he went back 2 the hotel 2 sleep.
we waited until 5:30 ... what a pitty  | |

we did the same, we got in about 2am and stayed about an hour but it was so so busy that we guessed that he wouldn't play but weren't at all sure. it didn't seem like it was the right kinda vibe in there for him either, way too rowdy and busy. i expected to wake up this morning and hear about the amazing aftershow that we had walked away from. sorry for the folks that waited it out though, it was a tough call | |

In the (German) interview that's posted on Lotusflower the interviewer says that it was expected that Prince would perform an aftershow at the Jazz Club, he even went so far as to ask Rhonda if playing three gigs in one night wasn't too stressful. So it wasn't dumb to expect an aftershow  | |
