I saw the Morris and the Time last night!

Man! Morris Day & The Time tore it up last night at the Winstar Casino, in Ok. It's an hours drive north of Dallas on I35. It was basically a Texas crowd and was actually promoted by 94.5 KSOUL, a Dallas radio station that was there. Anyway, the lineup included Ricky Freeze on bass and Tory Ruffin on guitar, not Jam and Lewis. And some short black guy and the Asian guy (that was with them last year in Dallas) fill in for Jerome. But, of course they were great. I had $30 VIP seats, 3rd row center. Morris wore a sweet, black suit with red pinstripes, with big red cuff, white shirt and white Stacys and a cool redish gold metallic scarf under the shirt (like a tie). They played all of the hit you would expect to hear. They even played "My Draws". They were really good.
