Hey purple people who's going? Where shall we meet? Who is staying where? And who's buying the first round of Guiness?

I've just booked my mega cheap 1p flights with Ryan Air for me and my mate (by the time they sting you with taxes and handling charge = £16.01). Still, I couldn't get a taxi more than 5 miles for that where I live.

Now for venue tickets. Anyone fancy clubbing together and we get a VIP box?

Anyone got the inside track?

Ok, just tried ryanair. Tickets I wanted were 25 but then they wanted another 18 just for a bag!!!! Still cheap I suppose, but then with the stansted express there and back and other connections it's gonna get closer to 80.

I'm thinking I'd rather put it towards a few days in Paris.

I'm not thinking too well as I'm panicking that the Ryanair flights Sale ends by 5 and that's the B all and end all of transport.

Think I'm gonna wait til next week and re-assess all the options.

I still prefer the idea of a box to a standard ticket though!!!

apparently Dublin is great place to go for a weekend so probably worth going and being in a box is great but not so close

If there's a meet up count me in, it's my first time in Dublin and would be great to see some of the people I met at the O2 again. Dublin sounds like a cool place to be!!!!

Why don't we arrange a meeting point a couple of hours before the concert starts - like a pub!! Where we can all say Hi! I'll have my little boy with me though, and I'm sure some other poeple will have kids too, so needs to be a child friendly one! biggrin

I'm still in shock that he's returning to Europe so soon after "the summer that changed everything"! I was convinced that he wouldn't be here again for years and years. Are you guys surprised?

Maybe we gave him such a good time in London he couldn't wait to come back.

I would be interested in the box idea as I will probably be coming alone.

Is some clever sort going to design a t-shirt again? Maybe a light summer version because you never know the sun might shine in June!!

lol Actually, I just had some quiet time, and I was thinking, that in amongst all this rushing around booking flights, reserving hotels, and thinking about concert tix, it hadn't occured to me properly that all my wishing, and hoping and praying had worked - he's actually coming BACK!!! woot! excited

Oh, and so did the poll 'where to go next' at 3121 actually have some impact?!! biggrin

I definitely want to go, but I will not be scrambling for tickets wednesday morning.

Even if it sells out at the venue within an hour, that does not mean sold to actual people! It includes the 50,000 tickets that have been allocated to ticket agencies nationwide.

I can not believe the price of the tickets either compared to the 31.21 of the O2 shows, also the chances of,even after the venue selling out and us all having bought our expensive ticket that 3121.com suddenly reappears offering us all cheap exclusive tickets is way too high!

With the recent shows, the high ticket price, travel and accomodation(or are there 80,000+ residential Irish fans that I'm ignoring here?), and the amount of fans still brooding over his recent actions against them, I think we may have an opportunity to be a bit more choosey with our ticket options.

Whatever option you choose - Good Luck - And May the Funk be with You! 0+>

I've decided I'm not going for any tickets in the morning. I think there will be a glut of spares on Ebay within days. Besides, unless I pick up a bargain or VIP box, I might not bother going at all now.

The Stadium looks far too big. I thought Prince at the old Wembley Stadium (a smaller venue than Croke Park) sucked the life out of the show.

I'm thinking of no to the Stadium, but doing everything I can to try for the aftershow - if there is one, which is highly probable.

I'm not gonna get a ticket until last minute, or if he does special ones for fans.

Even if I don't have a ticket on the day, I still intend to be in Dublin that evening and seeing where fate takes me!!!!!

Hmmm.... I'm really having second thoughts about this concert too. The prices are pretty high compared to the O2 (I know we were spoilt but..) and it's such a huge stadium, I don't really know where to get tickets for the best seats because I don't really get the layout - it looks like there's seats at the side and behind the stage on the seating plan for Prince confuse I just don't know if I want to risk it, especially with a five year old on board, and also, won't be able to get to an aftershow for same reason sad

If I could get tix for around £33 I would go for it, but it just seems too much, to end up being disappointed - maybe I'll wait for Paris or something confused

Well, let's wait and see what happens...

Ignore all the above, I've changed my mind - I was like a woman possessed when the tix came on sale lol chatterbox

Any confirmation of other dates. I'm like you, don't want to book flights until know where else he is - may want to fly dublin to paris or other way around. Ooohhh excited!!!

very surprised that he is performing so soon after the 02 shows, very happy though. Just booked my return flights from Teesside, cost me 32.00. Would love to be in VIP box. biggrin
