sorry U were not there on the second night....U missed a fantastic aftershow n that version of the cross with bono will last with me 4ever....i think it was 6am leaving there..all i know is the birds were singin while we were walkin back 2 the gresham hotel..lol.
mrs wolfy had blisters on her feet from wearin those high heels n dancin all nite...
we will have 2 meet up after the main gig n we can get a taxi 2 the aftershow.
im thinkin of leavin b4 the last encore 2 secure a place n the Q.
would love if prince did a sale 4 the aftershow with NPGMC password sent via e mail....that would please all us long term fams.
U can imagine the Q with everyone wanting 2 get n there....lol
theres a great friend of mine who works with event guard n he has told me they have the contract 4 the croke park gig.....he gets 2 meet all the big names when they come 2 ireland.
we have decided anyway that when tix go on sale were going 4 the hogan stand lower tier...
im like a kid with the Xcitment.

shake dont say that i am already worried enough about trying to find the aftershow on my own but to find out that the members of the NPGMC will get a password to get in will just make me cry i still wanna b a member even though it has shut down sad

i feel 4 U...it must be daunting 4 stangers 2 find there way around a city they dont know not 2 mention the fact of tryin 2 find the aftershow...
if U can make friends with some irish fams n they will take U 2 the venue afterwards.
sometimes they announce the venue of the aftershow when the main gig ends...thats what happened @ 1995 n 2002 @ the point.
dont worry about a thing....un4tunatly there will b ppl turned away.
as there r only 3 gigs planned so far u will have a lot of worldwide fams comming 2 n they will all want n.....cause its ireland i reckon irish fams should get priority....just kidding...heh heh

lol

yeah, I remember after the first Pod night trying to find my way back to D4 at 5am, if you remember where Jury´s was or the lansdowne hotel, you will know what i am talking about, had some great laughs and met some great people on my way home that nite (morning), ah alas, those were the dayz,

The Dayz Of Wild cool

lol....was there both nites...it was easier 2 get n the first nite cause they were busy with some film event..pret a porter... n the other part of the pod so security was lax.
U must have had a long walk out 2 D4....lol....
4 all i know i could have met U b4....its quite possible.
wed morn is going 2 b mad.....lol...get the kidz a bath..dressed..fed..n then get my tix...then take em 2 school n then work.....jezz.....what a life...

try looking at ticketmaster tuesday...it should be updated n i find it strange that the details r not already available....

as 4 that link...is that a wellknown n trustworthy website?
i know ticketmaster can b a pain but at least U can trust them with ur ££.
i dont think the gig will sell out n an hour r anything near that but 4 safety its advised 2 get ur tix ASAP...thats how i feel anyway as if i get the hogan stand lower tier at 8am wed morn im sure they will b great seats.
even if its n the round r a normal stage u cant go wrong with those tix.
as i was V close 2 prince @ the 02 im not fussed if im a little bit away provided he is not a dot on the stage at the back of the stadium.
there will b giant screens but thats like looking at a DVD...if they have a good solid VIP package thats upfront then ill go 4 it as its an irish show n he wont b back 4 years 2 come im told.
last time he played here was 2002 n b4 that was 1995.
so i think a few hundred euro on good seats would b well worth the ££.
its 50 50 right now but im trying 2 secure 2 places @ the kerry foods corporate box.
saw the all ireland football final there b4 n there hospitality was second 2 none...they have a private kitchen specially 4 the corprate boxes there @ croker with waiter service.
have 2 wait n c..a m8 owes wolfy a big favour n its about time im calling that n....heh heh.

i asked ticketmaster if they knew and the guy said that the usual is; seating in stands, pitch standing, and a 'gold circle' of standing around the stage. he couldn't say for certain, just that that was the norm and would account for the different priced tickets.

Did I just read that someone got the last hotel room in Jurys? damn I better get something booked!!

Wolfie, you're a kerry man, eh? Im not a huge GAA supporter myself to be honest, then again I think its a blessing as my husbands from Kilkenny..!

Anyhow, I didnt think you could be as specific on Ticketmaster requesting tickets on the Hogan Stand? I just know from seeing the Police - we were up the top of the Cusack stand that the stage seemed very far away. I mean all I saw was 3 dots on the stage!!! I dont think I will run the risk with a seat, might just go with a pitch ticket. Oh at the same Police concert it appeared that "Gold Circle Tickets" or something like that were right up the front of the stage. Reminded me of Cork in 90 - we were lucky enough to be right up front that day and had loads of space to dance etc. Oh the memories....

Have I mentioned I am sooooo excited!!! lol

i have a lot of fams sending orgnotes asking where the aftershow is n if they can meet up with me etc 2 show them round town etc....
truth is i will b there 4 the gig obviously...but tryin 2 meet everyone will b impossible especially afterwards as there will be a mad dash getting out of there with the crowds etc.
if U thought the 02 was bad U should check out croke park...it gets mental 2 say the least with folx pushing n shoving....thats why im getting a stand ticket.
i went 2 c metalica @ the RDS last time they were n dublin n there was moshing going on....was really scary 2 say the least cause i had a panic attack n had 2 b pulled out of the crowd.
since then i dont believe n going on2 a pitch standing 4 those reasons.
U just dont have comfort...at least if U have a stand ticket U have a seat n some bit of comfort.
thats just my 2 cents.....4 anyone that cares anyway...lol

What's the Hogan Stand Wolfy?

the hogan stand is the best stand 4 concerts at croke park...when tix go on sale it should give U the option of different stands etc...im going 4 the hogan stand lower tier...that way i will have a great view,,,,U really cannot go wrong with that nomatter what happens.

please do not quote me on this now but they are now thinking of aborting the symbol stage n case it rains n that could make the show impossible 2 do.
last summer was really wet n made some outdoor shows a horrible Xperience 4 the fans.
U cant really c prince n the band per4ming 4 over 2 hours n the rain can U as its an open air venue.
the way its looking now is that they are using the same stage as neil diamond.
another point is if U remember the 02 shows he played towards the arrow n sides n rarely came round 2 face the back which left a lot of fams discruntled like myself 4 paying huge £££ 4 F2 seating.
last thing they want is having 2 pay back folx after 4 restricted views etc.

i reckon whats best 4 croke park if there is pitch standing with a gold circle area n front of the stage.
they could charge the big £££ 4 those tix n no doubt all the main fams will b n that circle.
another good idea would b 2 pass out a pass 4 the aftershow 2 the gold circle fams where 4 a small donation extra we could gain access 2 the aftershow....
just an idea..

hope ur listening MCD n prince....lol

thumbs up! Thanks for the info Wolfy! Will we be able to SEE him from the Hogan Stand lower tiers? I was spoilt at the O2 because I was practically on the stage at the 6th Sept concert! Row B at the side of the Symbol!

I guess that makes sense about not using the Symbol stage - but Damn!

Gold seating at the front sounds good though razz it sounds expensive too.. lol

i ment the journey back to the uk not the actual time at the O2, the O2 was lovely and peaceful compared to 1/2 the places i have been lol

yeah i think i am going to go for a stand seat if i can just for the fact i wont be able to cope with people shoving and pushing for 2 hours i much rather be slightly further away and comfortable

but i do like your idea of gold circle getting aftershow tickets though i bet it would cost £££

lol as i mentioned in a post a few days ago, I dont see the symbol stage coming out for this one, it would be lost at Croke park, which makes me very curious of what the stage will actually be like and is also a signal that a big european tour is on woot!

so it is now time to look under the bed and see what cash i have left wink

Wembley does not have a roof, it has a Mcdonald style arch, the stadium with the roof is in Cardiff wink
If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

it has got a roof it opens and closes, when the roof is closed it covers all the pitch and all the seating but at the very top at the back of the stands there are openings all the way round to allow air flow. When the roof is open it still covers all the seating but the pitch is completely exposed.

it also has the stupid arch thing lol
