I am definately with you on this. I had such a great time over the summer and remembered who I used to be (pre kids etc). Now I'm back and having a fantastic time.

And I got out every single one of Prince's cd's, many of which I have not played for quite some time.

I have had a great summer since, floating on memories of five fantastic shows. But I think the withdrawal is starting to kick in now, been feeling it since the month anniversary of the last show. The last show was so amazing, and such a great night meeting orgers. Now starting to feel sad that it's all over. And missing Prince very very much.

I can honestly, hand on heart, say that I haven't missed him at all. I saw 12 main shows and went to 9 aftershows, of which Prince played 7. I had more Prince than most and am grateful for that. But things have been so good since the last show that I just haven't been bothered that he's not here anymore. That's not to say I wouldn't be there again if he was here, but for now I'm not missing him.

After a slight OD on the org and all things Prince, I was definitely thinking about our purple summer on the 21st. Is it really only a month or so since all that wonderful, stomach churning mayhem!? Having seen the stories in the papers today I couldn't resist having a peek, and here i am posting again....
*sigh*
I miss Prince & I miss feeling like a teenager again like I did when he was in town!

As it goes, I have decided to turn my wonderful org experience into something a little more concrete, and will be writing my MA thesis on 'Altruism, apathy and antagonism on Prince.org during the final week of his 21 nights in London tour'...or summat like that. I'll be spending the next few weeks trawling all the old posts leading up to the 21/9 gig looking for random acts of kindness, apathetic, dismissive & downright antagonistic exchanges during that whole heated period....should be interesting stuff! If anyone would like to be interviewed (prob not until early next year) about how they felt about their interactions with other orgers at this time, let me know!

What a lot of weird goings on, haven't really got my head round it yet, but it doesn't seem to make much sense.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to finally watching my free SOTT DVD on Saturday - having no telly, no DVD player and very few Prince fan friends haven't had a chance yet.

I do miss him v much.
