Mike Philly told me in person they are headed for Russia! Got to have a brief word with him after the Carolina Music Fest in August!

when we were on our way back on the clipper last sunday night 16th, we met indigomoonbeam and there was this girl who is flo6 here at the org, and after at waterloo i was chatting to her, she is a reporter, who is from belgium but lives in moscow, and she told me this story about he going to moscow, some of you might have seen her, as i have met her every concert night since, and last night again on the tube, she got into the vip purple lounge last night, with her notebook and pen, lol. seemed pretty well informed about what prince is up to in the next months.

It's a private gig. Apparently for the same guy (Russian millionaire) he did the show in France for.

Yeah re Private gig ... but I was thinking about when we first heard about it...

It WOULD be amazing but you wouldn't be able to ask him what to play and there'd be no atmosphere as just you and a few friends. I mean it would be great - but different.
He was right - a new name does feel mighty fine....now for some fun - MWA HA HA HA

great idea - i have a tenner spare too. if we don't raise enough for the band it will have to be just prince and (acoustic) guitar.

I reckon including all of the set-up costs and the venue and stuff, if theres is about 22,000 of us it would be about.....

£31.21!

Bargain! I'll go 5 times!

I have heard that the Millenium Dome is a good venue nowadays, they have just revamped it!

Do you reckon we could get him to do an aftershow at a smaller place for 25 quid or so!?

if this is true...then i'd be pretty disappointed with prince to be honest. with so much of russia living in abject poverty, you can bet your ass that this 'millionaire' collected his millions using nefarious means. possibly one of the oligarch characters...ugly business.

but, benefit of the doubt until the facts are in and all that.

Hey, everyone has to make a crust somehow!

Personally I would much rather he does shows for fans at cost price and gives his new album out for free, and makes his money by doing a few private gigs a year for a couple of $mil!!!

That actually make s more economic sense for everyone!

Besides if these Russian oligarchs can buy a football team and spend £30mil on aging Russian footballers to watch them play, having Prince play at your house is a bargain in comparison!
