Prince Planet Earth tour Rehab meeting London west end saturday 29th september 07 (yes also same thread as in fan gatherings)

i'm arranging 4 all who r interested to meet for face2face Prince PE Rehab help / support.

Trying to find a chilled pub/ bar not too pricey ...ideas welcome.

already have some attendees.

All r welcome.... no tickets required, but then there is no guarentee of prince music, its all about the !

please org note me by tomorrow lunchtime, if u have ideas for a bar/pub and/ or if u want to come, as i will have to make calls and book some room if its more than 8 peeps...
i hope it will b there should alway b at least 12 at PA meetings

I'd love to go, I'm in need of some serious therapy....since the concerts came to an end I have been so down, I'm missing the whole package, traveling to London, booking into the hotel, the excitement of getting ready, meeting all the wonderful orgers I met, and of course the shows and aftershows.

I've actually got real emotional a few times just thinking about it and wish i could do it all over again.

Like I said, wish I could be there but I can't make it.

un4tunately were just back n ireland working 2 pay the bills but we should be travellin over 4 maceo @ indigo n that should b fun...prince just has 2 show as thats the only reason i bought the tix n we can all have a few drinks n have a laff.
that will be wolfys last trip 2 london 4 a while...although i visit a good friend n manchester on a regular basis....wolfy loves the folx in the north of england where they r down 2 earth n soooo friendly.

londoners r cool 2..cause wolfy loves all the fams n the world.

2 b honest wolfy is sooo cosy n his irish lair that he doesnt wanna go anywhere right now only chill in front of the fire n the widescreen with some white wine...mmmmm.

So 4 this saturday i suggest we meet around 7pm here r 2 options....

1) A very casual Neutral ( hmm very neutral) pub/bar off oxford circus called the Stonehorse.

I don't know much about pubs n bars in the west end (only know clubs here), so i did some searching and i found this very neutral place off maddox street

I usual go 2 places in the East End 2 chill and i'm sure we all have our chosen type of bar... but this is a general meet up to celebrate a bit.

if any1 really has a Fab but "cheap" n chic place to hang out in the west end then let me know....
the other option is

2) A kool but not 2 "full on trendy place", called Spitz.

its not far from Liverpool Street tube ..its a bar and restaurant and often has live music upstairs....

Is liverpool Street really 2 far from the west end?
not really its in the city and has big railway station on the central line tube and southern, northern, and eastern BR trains.

oxford circus central line is nearest tube 2 maddox street, where the stonehorse is located.

please orgnote me which place gets ur vote so i can reserve tables.... 4 either place.

I'm totally up for clubbing / dancing later on ( i love 2 dance).

so if any1 wants 2 join up later for a jig?

btw, purplewisdom.... in the past the parties by TDE have been good fun...lots of rare funk n prince music has been played...

hoping to have a little party going for the 21st october...or after maceos gig ....

Another vote for Spitz too - seen a variety of gigs there over the years and it has a great atmosphere. Good wine menu downstairs too!

Not sure about a busy Saturday night, but it was pretty good the night I went. Think Slug & Lettuce but with live music occasionally.

Next week will be better for me as you know I've just had this cold and still feel a bit drained. The Spitz sounds like a cool place, just visited their website, although from the info on their home page it looks like they will be relocating soon...
