Weird dream last night - Prince came on stage on the 21st (last night) and asked the audience "How many of y'all been to see me at the O2 this year?" He was met by rapturous cries, so then said, "Well tonight it's all gonna be different. Tonight I won't play any songs you've heard this year live." And then he launched into an awesome 'purist' (don't meen to offend by the way) set.

My question is - which set of songs would you want him to play if this came true? By sets you are allowed a set of three which blend well together.

For me it would be 'Play in the Sunshine', 'Crucial' and 'Come On'. Funky, slow and Funky everytime.

And god I hope it does as my wife and I will be there in Block 103 Row N Seats 94 and 95. Say hello if you're nearby and let's Get Wild!

I won't answer your question but I did have a funny dream the other night too. I was sitting beside Maceo with Prince to his left as the show started with a video of Housequake with Prince in his U Got the Look fur and hair like Snoop Dogg. Then the band marched out of the arena into the streets playing Prince and the Band. I followed and round the corner I see him doing the giant shadow superbowl bit on the wall with the Symbol guitar. Next thing theres a Venom tongue effect coming out of the Prince shadows mouth and I notice the streets are surrounded by video screens to create the effect with animations and they are filming this for a new video. I take a photo with my camera phone as a giant shadow Prince comes towards me zapping a remote control so I hastely put the phone away. Then we all go back to our seats and Maceo asks me if I was taking any pictures so I say just the one. He goes hmmmmm and Prince makes the tsssk noise.
2 more shows, back to reality soon I suppose.

I also had a dream about Prince, he was walking up the steps to get on an airplane to come back to the U.S.,,oh wait...that's not a dream, he's coming HOME!

@ the Prince dreams. I shouldn't laugh though, I've had some pretty strange ones about the man myself.
