Hurting???

is anybody else still hurting? My feet are still numb from dancing!
All night at O2, then at Indigo... I was dancing b4 the band even came on. And on the King's Row there is serious room to boogie.
When will I feel my feet again?? Is Prince hurting too? Probably not- he has worn heels much more than me!
Prince isn't a star- he's an event. NME Paolo Hewitt.

You'll be pleased to hear the Twinz complained of aching feet as they tottered to their car afterwards- someone did offer a foot massage but oddly they didn't take him up on offer...

I hurt! I've lost my voice, I'm crippled and I'm feeling slighty strange from having had only 2 hours sleep! lol

Apart from that, I'm on top of the world!! whistling

Think I may go out and parrrty a little more.

I'm fine apart from being on the verge of collapse due to not sleeping. I think doing the last 5 showws and aftershows left me in good shape for the final night. I've actually lost 12 pounds since the start of Prince's stay, it's done me the world of good.

Well done- although if you're who i think you are, don't think you needed to lose it! Still, you can never be too rich or too thin. Myself, I've lost hundreds of pounds but all to a good cause.

My personal injury is a repetitive strain injury to my right shoulder blade from waving my hand from side to side y'all on a regular basis. No really. Might try for a doctor's note for that.

I still have a small bit of a tummy, so you might have me confused with someone else but you wouldn't look at me and think I was especially fat. I suddenly found myself needing to go a notch further on the belt, so jumped on the scales and got a big surprise. smile

Anyone got FNSS? Funky Neck Strain Syndrome?

Symptoms:Affects the neck and upper areas of the shoulders

Cause: Funky head movements - forward and back while head remains facing forward - good examples often seen of Prince when there is a heavy funky base line and he is not singing but just playing his guitar.

Treatment: Practice the move more often so you neck muscles become adapted or Stop listening to funky tunes - as if you are gonna do that!

Easter

Englishgent has good point - I started looking in better shape with long nights of downing water, singing and dancing like a lunatic (too nervous to eat!). Though I do think I did some damage to my right knee when jumping up and down in the 02 as I caught it on the seat in front and nearly fell right down the stairs!! Would have loved to have had serious injury though - and then everyone could have asked what I did - and then they'd have to listen to me as I went on about how I was dancing like a madwoman at Prince and then I would have a captive audience!

proved to myself however - that even getting on in years (ok - not quite knocking on door of 40 yet - but it's looming) I can still party with the kids and stay up late! Got a kick out of walking past Big Ben one night at 4:15am! Not sure aged 49 I'll be still up to Prince's standards - but I shall try my damndest to keep up with him! If he's still partying all night - then so will I be!!! lol
If anybody asks you, I belong to Prince....

It's good to know that we can still hack it when required. Only got a little over two years to the big 40 myself. Back to back aftershows last week with work the following days at 9am was tough but I made it.

Now however I must confess to being tucked up in bed with the laptop. It's only 9:30, so perhaps I am showing my age. On the other hand, I've been awake for over 36 hours now, so I think my party credentials are at least still semi respectable. biggrin

a recent whiplash injury has resurfaced after I nodded off on the 188 bus at around 5am this morning...that jolting head flip when the bus driver braked must have done it! Ouch!!

Other than that have probably lost weight as too excited and tired to eat properly whenever a show was looming....

Same here - I was right by the speaker and man was it loud eyepop

Been trying to do Uni work all day but all I can do is think of that show. If he ever plays in London again I'm going to every show and aftershow, regardless of the cost!

IRISHFAN

My whole body aches - I reckon we were a strange sight walking back to our hotel after the aftershow - my legs seized up!! I kept thinking, how can they keep going, especially in those heels! I was in flip flops and I am still in agony!!!!!

Worth every ounce of pain though - it was a magical night!!! lol
