Screw the aftershow, he better do a decent main show! Only got 1hr and 20 minutes for my first Prince concert(18th Aug) so I'm hoping for something special second time round!

I'm this wishful because im only 17 and cant get into bloody Indigo! The two bastards im going with reckon they're puitting me in the car with a bag of overpriced crisps and a cup of flat coke (courtesy of the O2 Arena) and go to the aftershow themselves. The cheek!

Do you look 17?? I know I'm 25 but I do look quite young and get ID'd for things all the time, but have had no trouble getting into the aftershow (I always bring my passport JUST in case).

Anyway, I'm only going to the aftershow on the 6th, so fingers crossed.

That's nothing. I got ID'd in a supermarket the other day buying the Robin Hood Disney film lol The guy was obviously on his first day and it asks for age confirmation for all DVDs and he actually wanted proof of... I have no idea!!

That's really funny. lol lol The films a U so I guess he just needed proof that you had been born. A birth certificate would have done the trick.

Shame about the aftershow FunAndjames, is it worth giving a go though? At worst you'd have blown £25 and you would still have the coke and crisps for company in the car. biggrin

As for the chances of Prince showing up, I'd say it's a reasonable chance. Like others have said, the free days either side help the cause but nothing is ever certain.
RIP sad

After the inital fiasco with no-shows at the IndigO, isn't it right that Prince has turned up for all midweek shows? There's been a pattern at the weekends alternating between Fridays and Saturdays each week. I have no idea what's planned for September. I wish I had a time machine.

Nah, me and my mate from work (my official Prince chaperone!) were then discussing it and theres no chance in hellll I'd get in. It'd be a straight, take one look at me and tell me where to go!

The crisps and coke for company do sound highly appealing though. And i could always take my iPod and listen to Prince and pretend im in there i guess!

You can go to the Aftershow. Under 16s are NOT allowed. U have to show ID if ur under 18... States this on Seetickets and Ticketmaster...

SeeTickets seems to say 16+ and Ticketmaster says 18+

It does not say that on ticketmaster on the page where you select the number of tickets. It says, "Strictly Over 18s only."

The tickets I have for all my aftershows state on them quite clearly, "Strictly 18+ - ID required"

Well, im gonna wait until the day and ask at the actual O2 Arena for the official verdict. Dont really feel like bombing 25 quid on a ticket in advance just to end up sitting in the car!#

fingers crossed!

Good luck! If only SeeTickets still had some left from their allocation. You could quote their Over 16 message and at least get a refund on that basis if refused entry.

The security definitely refused some 17 year olds entry to the indigo the other night. Sorry.

The tickets themselves could not be clearer on the matter. I doubt any argument regarding notices on seetickets would help. The only thing that might get you is a refund from seetickets.
