The next generaion of Prince fans

Just wanted to say i am back at the o2 Fri and Sat after pressure from my 2 kids aged 16 and 13. After i raved about the 18th Aug show and aftershow they have insisted i take them to see what the fuss is about. It will be a chore but as a parent i feel i have to help educate them!!
Taking my 16 year old daughter Friday and my 13 year old son Saturday hope they enjoy it as much as me lol
Anybody else taking their kids

I'm taking my son, who's a fan and 14yrs old, on the 31st Aug!

He's been a fan for the longest time... my first knowledge of him being a fan was when he was singing Pussy Control for all to hear on the garden when only 4yrs old... I just had to laugh....hehe

Originally me and my wife were going for the gig and aftershow on the 17th Aug...he was so dissapointed I just had to take him....

Good thing though... I get to go twice....sweet!!

I have taken my nine year old daughter three times now & it deffo won't be the last.....smile On Tue 28/8 in block D1, she was by far the funkiest dancer in our block! She rocked, I was so proud of her! She knew about 90% of the songs & sang her heart out!!! All dolled up in her Prince t-shirt, symbol necklace & a squirt of 3121!

She says she loves him.....scary eek & is buying a pillowcase next time we are there so she can sleep on him every night eek I blame the parents personally.....smile

I took my 7 yr old daughter..she absolutely loved it.. but then she has been listening to him since she was in the womb!! She thought Prince lived at the O2 bless her.Only thing was I think she was a bit embarrassed by my dancing and screaming! She`s definately a better mover than me!!

Pretty sure If I remember rightly, just before the Musicology tour, Prince announced he was going to tour for ages and ages and ages and the campaign behind the Musicology era was that he wanted as many kids there as adults as he wanted the kids to experience good music etc etc....

Anyone else remember this?

As Vic Reeves used to say that was my idea!

I brought my 2 sons (12 & 20) on the 24th Aug & wow they were blown away by the performance lol so much so that my 12yr old literally begged me 2 take him the next nite. So off we went 2 the booking office at about 4pm on 25th & luckily we got 2 fabulous seats very near stage on block 111 row F. That nite we both agreed Prince even surpassed the previous nites performance razz
