Last night the best so far. He was on fire.

Did anyone else notice in the floor and lower tiers how the security were on anyone taking pictures, shinning torches in to the cameras. After about the 3rd number noboby was taking pictures. A guy is bk 106 was warned About 4 times then he was taken a for walk Didn't see him after that. "YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED""

The sign's changed too. All last week the sign around the arena said that Prince doesn't want you to take pictures. Now it says 'we' forbid pictures, implying the venue does. I guess they're stepping up security. And it's probably a good thing - loads of people aren't getting into it because they're spending the whole show looking through a lens.

I was in block 106 in Row HH, I could see loads of people filming with camera phones in the floor blocks in front of me, there were signs everywhere saying no photos or recording. It also said it alot on the digital boards around the arena. I also saw alot of flashes in the crowd. I certainly would not risk it at the aftershow though.

I took quite a few pics when I went on the 10th. Although a big stocky woman came over and poked me very hard in my arm which left me with a big bruise! She shouted "stop filming" to me and after replying to her by shouting back that I wasn't filming she told me to put my camera away. I didn't see her again after that, so I took a risk and took loads more smile

It's quite distracting if the audience is flashing all the time, also for other people in the audience. And people don't pay attention to the music properly when they're taking photos. I understand his point perfectly.

Bisligrill...are you a true Prince fan? If so then you should respect his request to not have any pictures taken. Due to people lacking this respect he hasn't been doing as many aftershows as we hoped. Saturday last week at Indigo it pissed him off so much he left after 4 minutes. I am glad at last security is taking some action.

Last night I took one photo about 7.30pm when the venue was fairly empty and a member of staff came over and spoke to me. I explained that I didn't want to take any during the concert just wanted a picture of the arena. He was happy with that and I kept to my word and enjoyed the show
oh mama I wish I could resist ...

The camera police were certainly in force on the 11th, I was in block 112 and there were 3 staff there just to check if anyone was taking pictures. I got 1 shot off b4 the show started, didn't wanna risk losing my camera. So it stayed in my bag.

I also saw lots of security shining with torches at saturday's show. Better not take any pictures, store the event in your memory biggrin

Raajput

Yep a week after my first show at the o2 - saturday was a real change.

I initially thought it to be due to us being close up in the lower tier as opposed to the back of the round last time.

On entering the arena seating, the Somalian security guy who ppl may have seen around block 103 was pretty aggresive in telling us no photos else you will be removed.

As we were seated, you would see security weeding out ppl constantly taking pics prior to the event starting, I took one pic and got busted and never got the camera out again, though i think you will be safe if you turn off your flash.

Be warned

That's just ridiculous

It's not about him being blinded (the first rush of flashes at any concert of any artist is when the artist arrives on stage) & they r not blinded, cuz the majority uses mobile phone..

As for people not seeing..i was front row on friday..payed good money
4 auction tickets but at least once every 2 songs the atmosphere was ruined
cuz the security came standing in front me, agressively signaling 2 other security people 2 go check out certain people in certain sections..this gestapo
mentality really got on my nerves, so when 'kiss' started i blocked this fat security guy's way whne he came round again by jumping in front of him and dancing like a madman..

Had one shitty moment during aftershow on the 10th when crap prince security
guy dragged me of the dancefloor '4 taking pictures' when in fact I was calling my friend 2 let him hear Alphabet street...but I was allowed back so flipped off

I can turn this around & say If p respects his
fans he'll go easy on them, cuz we're not trying to make money of it..

I'm not saying we should b allowed 2 film
the entire gig or whatever..but u know u just wanna show a blurry low rez pic 2 ur mum, coworker, neighbour, lover, friend or whatver when u say that u fuckin flew 2 England 2 c Prince cuz u love his music so much & that it was fuckin amazing..

wanna c my pictures? lol
...Your coochie gonna swell up and fall apart...
